Dr. Gincy Kandankulam, MD

I have gone to Dr K for 8 years. She is knowledgeable, thorough, attentive, timely, and very thoughtful. Her staff is excellent too. I am so very glad I found her.

Unable to meet patients needs, appointment scheduled for specific reason then office unable to fulfill needs. Waste of time, should be More courtesy to patients. After all that the office tells me to go to md now so my needs can be met. If that’s the case, why do i have a primary and why should I have to pay twice for the same service that they were unable to complete and why did I waste an hour and a half of my day sitting in office.

Dr K always listens well during my visits. She always tries to help with advice and/or medication. I have referred her to two people who both also like her.

I am so upset and will tell everyone about my experience with Dr. Kandanklum & her staff. I have been sick with a stomach issue since Friday. I called this morning and tried to schedule an “emergency” visit for today. I mentioned I had a fever along with my other symptoms but was offered a 330 telehealth appt only. Apparently, they do not allow you to come into the office if you have a fever. I needed to see my doctor and I was denied because I have a fever. I am triple vaccinated and have been testing myself all weekend. This was not COVID. I ended up going to the ER. What doctor does not see their patient because they have a fever? Two weeks ago, I had a urinary tract infection and called to see her then but was denied an in office appt then, too. I do not get this office at all. I am so hurt and frustrated by this treatment. Dr Kandankulam and her staff are fantastic!! I switched primary care doctors right in the middle of Covid. She has been incredible! Never once failing to refill a migraine medication, making sure I was seen if necessary, helping with referrals when I stupidly changed from a PPO to an HMO! Her staff is so accommodating, accurate and always pleasant!

Best doctor I ever had!! I love Dr. Gincy!! She is thorough, caring, doesn't rush you, and really listens to you. I am a 77 year old woman who has been to many doctors in the past and can really say that Dr. Gincy is the best!!! She gets 5 stars from me!!!

Dr. "K" is wonderful. She is extremely thorough and genuinely listens to your concerns and provides detailed medical advice so you completely plus she does not try to rush you out the door!

Dr. K is lovely and very caring; however, the office staff is generally pretty unfriendly and they don't follow up when I'm told they will. They seem to be dismissive and uninterested in being helpful. It's not a very pleasant experience dealing with the office staff at the Wellington office.

I've been a patient of Dr.Kandankulam for about almost 4 years and I can't believe I've stayed that long. While she's a nice lady, I've never felt "at ease" during her visits. Her medical assistant Claudia is rude and dismissive. One time she said to me "what else" when explaining my symptoms in a rude tone like she was irritated or felt I was making things up. That immediately made me want to leave. While I've received the necessary specialist referrals, that was it. I've discussed certain things that weren't addressed or handled, had to make another appointment for additional things even though I would be in the office for a longer yearly exam. I didn't have my yearly appointment last year due to covid and not wanting a Telehealth visit. it's 2/2021 and I called to have a follow up visit from a recent ER visit (possibly schedule the missed annual) and was told it would be telehealth too. My husband and I have been looking for a primary doctor for a while, but let me tell you when we found her and went to see her for our appt she was amazing!! Very thoughtful, smart, kind, patient, tactful. We are so happy we found her!!

Dr. K is compassipnate and engaged. You can tell she truly cares about her patients because she is very thurough and takes her time. The office is clean and the staff is polite.

DR Kandankulam is by far one of the best MD I have ever been too!! I been a patient with her for about 6months now!! she is excellent the quantity of care is outstanding not to mention the office staff is wonderful! I been in the medical field for almost 20 years now! I have seen just about everything!! she is the best ! the care she gets to her patient is awesome very knowledgeable and very caring!!

Dr. Kandankulam is a very thorough and knowledgeable physician that leaves no stone unturned. She does not rush you out of the office but rather listens to all of your concerns. Dr. K. is extremely kind and compassionate. So glad I found her!
