Not suitable for pediatric care
The staff and medical assistant were absolutely wonderful. My son (4 year old) and I went to see Dr. Z for some suspected warts on the bottom of his foot. Initially Dr Z explained her plan of care to me, and we proceeded. My son quickly became upset, crying and nervous about what was going on. He was doing a decent job holding it together and then the procedure started to cause him pain- so he started crying and yelling. Dr Z was instantly bothered by his reaction. I was doing the best I could to keep him calm and explain, but it ultimately ended in her yelling at my son to stop crying, raising her voice, throwing her hands in the air, and telling me to control him. Mind you, he was both terrified of what was happening and clearly uncomfortable. I did voice to her that he was just scared and he didn’t know her and she was absolutely unprofessional. I left very frustrated and told her I would not be returning. I think she’s likely a competent doctor, but I would not take a kid to her.

Caring and Knowledgeable
Dr. Z treated my elderly mom quite well. Took care of her toenails and examined her sore toe. Too x-rays, and then consulted with us immediately after. Very nice bedside manner.

Abrasive
We went in to see her about treatment for dry heals. She said she could scrape off the dry skin. When my daughter reacted to the potential pain it was going to cause, as well as, the pain it did cause, she basically told her she needed to stay still. There was no compassion/empathy at all. She eventually seemed very annoyed and left the room telling us she would have the nurse use a tool that might help remove the dry skin and told us we could purchase cream from them to help with the dryness. The cream was $30. You could buy virtually the same cream for half that on Amazon. I have no doubt she knows what she is doing, but didn't show the compassion that I feel the situation warranted.
