Practices 'cookbook' medicine
She goes strictly by how she is told to 'practice medicine'. If you attempt to advocate for yourself or loved one she does not like that at all and will try to minimize your knowledge. Writes a script and push the dangerous meds and you're out the door. Side effects....who cares, she's not taking it. If you have labs done in office, they do not tell you its going to cost you, and you will get a nice bill. Valley Health and hospital as gone so downhill it is scary. They take their marching orders from corporate and paitient care no longer exsists. Many great doctors have left this system and it is no wonder.

Dr. Boyd is the best endocrinologist that I have had in thirty five years of being diabetic. Her goal is to improve my A1C and general health. I can ask her any question. She is very timely with appointments and the waiting room is very comfortable. I would give Dr. Boyd a five star rating.

She is the best doctor around. I had ovarian cancer at the age of 27 so years ago when they told me I had a goiter on my thyroid and a few nodules, I have a biopsy every 3 years because that's what endocrinologists want me to do. She was so great at doing the ultrasound and so kind when she had to do the biopsy. Not only does she have a great bedside manner, but she's very intelligent. I had to have a genetic marker test done due to abnormal cells and she personally called me with the good news.

This was Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a physicians office. After being told that they were booked until June which was 5/MONTHS away, and had to have my ultra sound read for a pre existing thyroid nodule and new growth of the original and new developments. I had to have my PC office manager beg to get me an appointment asap. Once getting an appointment and speaking to Dr . Boyd telling me she couldn't read the us ,it was menopause, and my thyroid issues weren't addressed!!!!

I have never seen Dr Boyd, but after calling to set up an appointment I will be taking my business elsewhere. The secretary in the office was so rude that I have decided to see a doctor at another practice. I was only trying to set up an appointment and the women was so rude for no reason. She even tried arguing that they don't take my insurance, even though I just checked online yesterday that they do. So rude for no reason. Friendly staff is so important
