Refused to see me even with a referral
I had my appointment cancelled for me because my TSH was in normal range. The referral came from endocrine surgery because on US my thyroid is hyper vascular and irritated. In her reasoning for canceling my appointment she claimed I have “a problem” with my TPO. Guess that’s her medical way of saying my antibodies are very elevated but she won’t do anything about that. She also stated endocrine surgery found no problem with my thyroid, interesting since they put the referral in. She refused to see me in person because upon reviewing my labs ahead of time she decided she couldn’t help me, and if I had additional concerns then I needed a new referral and a new appointment. I was actually told she was too busy to see me since my TSH was normal.

As a Hashimoto paciente strugling with slow methabolism. I was excited to know that a we had in town a Orthomolecular Endocrinologist at Mercy. Tried to make an app, called my family doctor for referral and for my surprise Dr. Gigi can't see me because my thyroid levels are normal. My thyroid levels are normal. My Hashimoto is not. She is a Dr. Specialized in thyroid distinction, methabolism, diabetes? A doctor that turn you down without knowing your adrenal levels? Thank you for nothing Doc
