You have to bear in mind that there is cultural difference, and was told that he seems to not care, but that was further from the truth and that does not negate the fact that he’s a wonderful doctor. He listened to me empathetically, he addressed all of my needs and my concerns, And made sure I was taken care of before I left the office. I thought it was gonna be an uphill battle, trying to find the same care here in the West Coast as I did in the East Coast, but I was pleasantly surprised by this doctor’s care. I’m glad I’ll be following up with him every couple of months

Dr. Kashef is treating me for stage 4 cancer of the esophagus, he developed a treatment plan that included radiation therapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. He explained in detail the seriousness of my condition and the steps taken to create and execute a plan that would extend my life expectancy. The doctor has instilled in me, based on his knowledge. that we will have a very positive outcome. If you have cancer you want and need the facts , a plan, and the measuring tools to see if the plan is working. Dr. Kashef's office staff has been great, they have handled all the issues of getting leading edge cancer therapies approved by my insurance was a real plus. I highly recommend Dr. Kashef and his staff.

Very satisfied, great Doctor

I took my 89 year old grandfather in to see Dr. Kashef on 11/26/2021 after an MRI showed a tumor in his back. Dr. Kashef was an hour late to our 3:15pm appointment which my grandfather and I found funny since he had an "On-Time Doctor Award" on his wall. When Dr. Kashef finally entered the room he seemed rushed and had very little time (7 minutes and 44 seconds, I audio recorded the appointment) to spend with us and did not seem interested in answering any questions that we had. He seemed more concerned after the appointment with arguing with the nurses about not being one and a half hours late, to which I replied that he was one hour late. My grandfather is to weak to walk long distances and told me after the appointment that if he was able to walk he would have left because Dr. Kashef seemed very rude. Unfortunately my grandfather's health is not good enough that we have time to wait to see another doctor so I hope our follow-up on 12/10/2021 is a better experience.

Aug 2019, after obtaining a CAT scan, my primary physician, immediately referred me to Dr. Ghulam Kashef, MD, at Comprehensive Cancer Center. Upon meeting Dr. Kashef and discussing a plan of action to determine a diagnosis - PET & biopsies, I was diagnosed with stage four non-small cell lung cancer. At first, my wife and I were not quite sure if we would continue treatment with Dr. Kashef as we were slightly put off by his bed side manner. However, we decided to continue working with Dr. Kashef as he was honest and straightforward about my condition and put a plan in place to treat it, as well as researched other options that could potentially be more beneficial. Dr. Kashef and his team, Malou and Aspen, were great throughout the entire process. Dr. Kashef and his team answered any questions I had, and his attention to changes in my blood work numbers were addressed immediately. As of April of 2021, I am in remission. I definitely would recommend Dr. Kashef.
