**Review for Dr. Ghufran Ahmed at Texas Health Resources** While Dr. Ghufran Ahmed demonstrates good bedside manners and is attentive to his patients, my overall experience was tarnished by the excessive and unreasonable billing practices at Texas Health Resources. The staff is caring, and the doctor listens, but the costs are simply outrageous, especially for something as basic as a follow-up visit. I was shocked to be charged **$323** for a **20-minute virtual follow-up**. This was after I was advised by the staff that a virtual visit would be a more affordable option. To add insult to injury, my insurance only covered **$183**, leaving me stuck with a **$140** bill. For a quick online check-in, this cost feels incredibly unjustified. In my opinion, a doctor should be obligated to follow up and discuss non-passing medical results as a courtesy. Instead, I was forced into a virtual visit for information that could have been shared in a simple follow-up call. What happened to prioritizing the patient’s best interest? What happened to the commitment to do what's right, even if it means a quick courtesy follow-up to discuss concerning results? Based on my experience, I can no longer recommend Texas Health Resources or Dr. Ghufran Ahmed. If you have money to burn, do it elsewhere—don’t waste it here.

Dr Ahmed and his team took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns and did not rush me. Only suggestion that I have is that every time I check in, I need to get a phone or email code even though I check skip for the next 30 days. When seeing your doctors often, I suggest you update the prompt
