Dr. Gholam Motakhaveri, MD

I have had the experience of taking my friend to Dr. Motakhaveri for many years. She has been his patient from almost the first time he arrived in Biloxi. Both her husband, and now she, has had serious, serious medical conditions. I am a retired RN. After approximately three years of assisting her with her medical appointments I realized that this is the man I want to take me into my old age. He is now my internist.

Office staff pleasant and office feels like home. Dr caring and patient.

Dr. Motakhaveri has been my doctor for at least 15 years now. I’d been to numerous other mds prior; none of which could find out what was wrong with me. He found my lupus right away! I’m so thankful for him!

Dr. Motakhaveri is our family Doctor and has been for many years. That includes five families or 10 adults. Until recently, my mother was a loyal patient of his. She just passed away at the age of 91. She absolutely loved Dr. Motakhaveri! And he always took such great care of her. We all trust Dr. Motakhaveri. So much that our son and his wife moved to Houston, but still make their appointments with him when they come home. He is thorough, caring and respectful. But he is like family to us. Our family has had some serious illnesses before. Because of his attentiveness and medical professionalism, we wouldn’t go to anyone else.

I do not think i have met a provider such as this before. He was disrespectful of me and very flippant with my concerns. He was very interested in speaking to my husband, but not to me. He talked over me when i spoke and literally laughed at my concerns. I will not be back to this "physician" again. I was very offended.

He has taken wonderful care of me.

He was self righteous and crass. He had no time for questions and seemed to sneer at me. I felt very uncomfortable with him. He has the bedside manner of a doorknob. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. What a poor experience. He is so rude to the nurses too. He needs to remember that if it weren't for patients he would not have a pay check.

Dr. Motakhaveri currently treats myself, my husband, my daughter and my son-in-law. My family and I have the greatest respect, trust and dependence on Dr. Motakhaveri. He is the most caring, compassionate, knowledgeable physician that anyone could have. His nurse, Adeline, is tops!

Dr. Motakhaveri has treated my elderly mother for over six years under routine and emergency and routine hospital and office visits. I am my mothers conservator and make medical decisions on her behalf. I have been, and continue to be Very impressed wth him. He is patient, honest, answers all questions thoroughly, is available, and I trust him. He works supportively with my mothers care giver. I could ask nothing more of him and that is why I actively sought him as my new primary Doctor.
