Dr. Ghislaine Van Dissel, DO

I have the greatest medical care from Dr Van Dissel for many years now . She listens to your comments and treats you accordingly, order lab tests and imaging needed and will refer out to a specialist if it is necessary . I like very much that she has a primary care practice as well as an osteopathic practice in the same office depending on what type of an appointment scheduled . I have experienced both and so pleased to have her on my health care team . She is the best!

I have a history of blood clots and had got another, I told her that I thought I had another one and she disagreed and reluctantly ordered me a an ultrasound and said 'I can tell you right now they won't get you in any time soon'. I ended up having to go to the ER which costs me so much more money, to discover that I did in fact have a blood clot. She was surprised, go figure, I might know what I'm talking about. Then with having to be on blood thinners I needed a new medication for my migraines she wouldn't prescribe anything for me and instead told me to do some stretches. I rarely go to the doctors, I hate going and to have this woman be so condescending and dismissive. She has no business practicing medicine.

Listen to what one has to say, and gives very reasonable recommendations. She is always on time.

She is the best. She spends all the time with you that you need. She actually listens to you and treats you like an intelligent human being. Her first approach is to try a natural method. If that doesn't work, she doesn't hesitate to go regular medical methods. She has a great sense of humor. She really cares. She has called me at home to ask more questions because she is researching on her day off. I adore her. She is one of the top three doctors that I have had.
