Dr. Ghassan Samara, MD

Dr. Samara is the most rude, unprofessional and arrogant doctor I've ever met! He arrived 45 minutes ater at the appointment, that means, because of their policy to arrive 15 minutrs before the appointment, I was waiting for being visited 1 hour. When he walked in the room, he didn't apologize for being late. Then he threw my nasal spray into the garbage can and he said that, because I was using the wrong nasal spray, he couldn't do anything and I was supposed to go back in 2 or 3 months. When I asked I could breathe without nasal spray, he said to use my mouth, So, did I go to the specialist to hear that if I can't breathe with the nose I need to use the mouth! I think he should learn first the good manners, and then how to be a doctor!

FIrst you'll see the PA - who like him, will see another issue in your history and most likely claim that is your issue, ie ENT can not help with that. The PA will basically do all the work, which the Dr will allow. If you arent experiencing sinusitus or anything aimilar do not see this Dr. bc its clear he does not care about anything else.. similar issues. Oh or TMJ bc that is special but again he cant treat that & will refer elsewhere (convenient)

Never left a MD review but here we are. Arrogant demeanor and extremely dismissive. His last words to me were "... well, do you even want a follow-up?". Um, that's not my call as the patient. Did not review my medical history prior which is quite a list, including 2 sinus surgeries. When mentioned BY ME, he replied, "Those don't matter, how are you treating symptoms now?", and promptly cut me off before getting an answer. The real "coup de grace" came when he said "You're allergic to cats but you have a cat?", to which I jokingly said "If I got rid of the cat, I'd have to get rid of the wife." His reply was a shoulder shrug and, "doesn't sound like a bad idea". He wasn't joking about it. When he FINALLY checked my sinuses (yes, finally) he said "Oh yeah, there is a lot of swelling there. Have you heard of a Netipot?" Seriously? I waited 3 months to see a specialist for this? I would suggest you go elsewhere. I cherish my other doctors, with never a complaint, ever.

Do NOT waste your time! Horrible bed side manner, unprofessional and does not have his best interest in your health. Does not care about getting to the root cause of your issues and just dismisses it with saying it’s from wearing your mask. Getting a run around from these doctors who do not care about your health. Rude , Condescending and pompous. I do not recommend this doctor at all. Do you research before scheduling an appt!

Absolutely horrible. Did not review my chart, had no idea what meds I was on or what I had already done for my problem. Asked me questions that were in the chart. Didn’t scope me said “he’d take the other drs word for it” didn’t examine me, told me he didn’t know what it was and said I should see an oral pathologist. I told him I couldn’t find one and he said “some things I can help you with and some things I can’t “ wasn’t going to do anything until he said do you have pain? I said yes. He said “than I have to treat you.” Didn’t want to see pictures of my condition as it had changed over time. Tried to leave the room 4 times while I was mid sentence. Acted like he could care less. Did a culture and never called with results. Turns out I was negative for fungus but he had me on anti fungal meds! Waste of time and $ I should get my co pay back. Stay away.

Happy with Doctor Samara. He is very kind and always takes time to answer any questions or concerns we may have.

I would NEVER recommend this man to anyone! He is a pompous ,rude, disregarding and disrespectful man! I actually walked out while he was still talking to me. He tried to diagnose me without even looking at my very extensive medical history ( including cancer. ) I have been to many medical professionals because of my medical problems and have never , ever walked out on any doctor!

Dr. Samara is a winderful surgeon. He is direct yet calming. He and his staff are professional and caring. He took wonderful care of my husband ! Hid Nurse Navigator Gertie is fantastic. I would recommend Dr. Samara to all who need a Doctor in his specialty of practice. Thank you to you all !

Dr. Samara's bedside manner is horrible. He shrugged off my concerns and did not explain the next steps without my prompting. It was the most unprofessional and unproductive doctor appointment. I will not be returning.

He was very rude and very condescending. My wife and I were applaud on how we were treated. I never do reviews but felt compelled to express our disappointment in him.

I had very difficult surgery for oral cancer with Dr. Samara and a team he hand picked for me. He explained everything, was there for me during my long hospital stay, and has closely followed me as an out patient. He guided me through this very difficult process. He is an excellent physician, a gifted surgeon and an understanding doctor

very professional and expert in his field. would definitely recommend him to others
