Dr. Ghanshyam Patel, MD

This is the possibly the worst doctor's office I have every had to work with. This office charged my dad about a $1000 for a regular checkup, and then, their office did not give me correct information about how much I would be responsible to pay and then literally 6 years later (I saw him for a regular checkup in 2016!!!), they're sending me a bill and asking me to still pay for it in such a rude manner, being super condescending. When I got upset that I'm being sent a bill 6 years later for $300 for a regular office visit, I was told nothing could be done, and the office person hung up the phone on me without giving me the information that I need. Beware of this office-- they will send you absurd bills and find ways to bill you ridiculous amounts. Ask for exact costs before proceeding.

I am a repeating patient and an extremely rude rep didn't want to schedule my appointment. The lady was teaching me on how to pronounce and spell the patients name correctly. When I explained to her that I have a hard time with my speech, I got another lecture on how I am being rude.

An exceptionally kind and caring physician.He gave me an expensive eye drop with out any cost. Referred me to the best.His wife is also a great personality so are the office staff. God Bless Them.

My whole family had been going to Dr Ghanshyam. But the quality of service has significantly deteriorated. I got the number in May 2019 once got the new glasses made found out that for distance I can not see right. Again had to visit and pay fee again. Only to find that my number is back to my previous number. Now, Dr forgot to write number for distance, once later contacted the number given was different than what he told in the office. Once contacted the office, arrogant attitude. Will not go back and neither recommend

Great doctor. Wonderful disposition. He is the only doc I have complete confidence in with regard to my eye care.

I would love to write a review of Dr. Patel, unfortunately, the three appointments I have made with him have all been canceled by his office. A week before my appointment they call and ask me to reschedule either to the Pearland office or the next available in Sugar Land now will be September. Something to do with not getting proper permits for their new offices. Why make appointments if you don't have all the proper permits? I give up, will just have to find another doctor. So unprofessional.

Dr. Patel is awesome. I had cataract surgery of both eyes and results are fabulous. He explained very well and I am so happy with the outcome. Had very pleasant experience and highly recommend him for eye needs.
