Incompetent
I saw this practitioner as an alternative to my primary because I have lost confidence in her. I told this doctor I needed an appendix ultrasound, and she orders the wrong one. Now she won't answer messages in the UC Davis portal to correct it. No caring whatsoever that a patient is in patient waiting for her to get around to doing her job properly.

Ineffective Appointment with Her
I recently saw Dr Montemayor, it was first visit to her. I took the apt as she was available sooner than other doctor. She was cold impersonal, was getting agitated when asked basic questions. Seemed in a rush to get over the appointment. Does not seem very knowledgeable. Impression I got she did not care and had whatever type of attitude. If I can treat myself, I do not need to see the doctor. Felt it was total waste of time ..

I am so lucky to have Dr. Montemayor as part of my "care team" for the past five years! Her professional demeanor is approachable, sincere, and respectful. Dr. Montemayor consistently follows through and connects with her colleagues and others on my care team to stay informed and up to date with my progress on appointments, tests, etc. Yes, I am one happy patient!
