She makes it a priority to know her patient. She listens and gives holistic care. She addresses not only your complaint but what may have contributed to that complaint. When I lost my primary care Doctor, my daughter, who was an intensive care nurse insisted that I should go to Dr Shiver. I, who had also been an intensive care nurse was so pleased at her ability to truly listen and not make you feel like she was rushing to get done. She is very thorough in her exam and does not hesitate to get to the root of the problem. I never thought anyone could be as good as my original primary Dr Liverman, but she was able to fill those big shoes. I am so thankful for her expertise, dedication and loving care she shows her patients.

Dr. Shiver is the best!!! When my Father was very sick some years ago, she happened to be the Doctor that was over him at the hospital he was transferred to after being in Critical Care and she took one look at his chart, changed all of his medication around and he has been doing great every since and we are so thankful for her. The moment I needed a primary Doctor the LORD made it to where she was accepting new patients and I jumped on it ASAP and it was the best thing I could have done. She is a very busy woman because she is the best but she takes her time with all of her patients, she doesn’t rush with any of her appointments which I know might not make some happy but I’m more than happy to wait on her as long as possible because she will take her time and give you her full attention and the proper care that you need.

Dr. Shiver is an excellent medical doctor. She is an expert in the medical profession. Her medical knowledge far exceeds being a primary doctor and more to the knowledge of a specialist. A very thorough, professional, caring doctor, and she is concerned and cares about her patients' health. Dr. Shiver goes beyond the call of duty many times to assist her patients. I know because she has been that way to me and I have heard others say the same about her. I am very blessed to have her as my medical doctor. The only thing I was disappointed with was the wait time. Appointment was at 3:10 pm and was not seen until 5:30 pm,very frustrated with that if that would get better every thing would be just great. Otherwise everything was ok.
