Dr. Larrain and his team saved my life
I was rushed to Aspirus' Cardiology ICU at midnight with a possible fatal saddle pulmonary embolism. Dr. Larrain came to my room and informed me that his schedule was full but he would find a way for him and his team to do surgery in the morning. I appreciated his honesty about my condition; some folks I learned simply don't survive. But Dr. Larrain's sincere warmth and caring attitude allowed me to relax and face the upcoming surgery with optimism. With the monstrous clots now removed, I am on my way to recovery. I don't know if anyone else could have performed so professionally or successfully. I credit him and his team for saving my life.
