Outstanding Nephrologist
Dr. Hernandez is very knowledgeable and encouraging. I told him that my goal was to stay off of dialysis. He replied, "That's my goal for you also." He explained my condition, listened to my concerns, and gave thoughtful advice after reviewing ALL of my records. He coordinates with my other doctors. Dr. Hernandez is SMART and practices with his heart and brain. I feel fortunate to have found him.

My parents just experienced the most horrible doctor-patient/responsibility and etiquette possible! It’s sad how doctor’s don’t care about their patients true well being anymore, but just about making sure they get paid by the insurances . Although my father had an appointment the doctor refused to see him because he didn’t receive “some lab results,” so he’d be wasting his time. My father is currently very ill, so we begged them to check him anyway and they said it wasn’t their problem!

Dr. Hernandez is a very ethical and professional doctor. To him the patient always comes first. I like that we work together to come up with my treatment. He explains to me the changes that he wants to make and considers my opinion in making such changes.

Dr. Hernandez is a very professional physician. He has excellent knowledge of the medical field. He is one of those physicians you look forward to his visits because his patient-doctor interaction is very good. He is not just staring at a computer screen the entire visit. If you are looking for a nephrologist who knows his field and treats patients with dignity, look no further.

Dr. German Hernandez was my Mother's doctor ten years ago until her passing and continues to be my 67 year Down Syndrome brother's doctor to date. There are not enough words to express his knowledge of medicine, his kindness, his professionalism and humanity. He is a man of faith and always listens to you. We are lucky to have in our lives.
