Dr. Gerilynn Vine, MD

OMGOSH! Stay away from this doctor!! She has an extremely poor bedside manner, is very haughty and blatantly rude! I have never ran across a doctor so unprofessional. There are plenty of other good GYN docs out there who are kind and have a professional bedside manner. Not her!

I went to her because I was experiencing perimenopause symptoms. Pretty much dismissed me and told me 'welcome to getting old'. Found another OBGYN.

Ive been in direct patient care as an icu nurse for almost a decade and NEVER have I EVER seen the interaction like I had with Dr. Vine. I am stunned. She walked in to my room and immediately seemed so annoyed to be there. She was rushed, rude and every question to me was an inconvenience. I then said, it sounds like you are frustrated with me, Im not sure what I did. She got visibly upset and started raising her voice saying she WAS frustrated because she hadnt gotten all of my records (I had 45 pages sent to her). I tried to begin to explain and she kept cutting me off and getting louder and more upset. I was SO CONFUSED. I was shut down at this point and started to cry asking how a doctor could respond like this. she cut me off again this time opening the door and shouting at me to get out. I left and sat for an hour in my car in shock and tears having not a CLUE what just happened. The instability was tangible. Definitely feel like I need to report this, more than just a review.

an hour agoNEW-Edit Very uncaring Doctor. Had an appointment and was 3 minutes late, made me rescheduled. Didn’t care at all about my condition and that I had to see a doctor asap. I waited months for this appointment. Sadly, my gynecologist retired and the only reason I chose Dr Vine was due to urgency of my health and insurance. Now; the next appointment they gave me was 8 weeks away. Will never come back. Glad to find a new doctor who CARES about his/her patients

Dr Vine is amazing! She always made me feel comfortable and cared for ! I grew a great relationship with her and I’m so sad she left Woman’s OBGYN in kingwood :(

Dr. Vine has been a blessing to me during my difficult journey trying to have a baby. She is knowledgeable, efficient, but most importantly, extremely compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend her and the practice to anyone!

I came to Dr. Vine after seeking a second opinion about surgery, and I will never go back to my old OBGYN. She truly cares about her patients, and personally calls you back when you leave a message; usually within the hour.
