knee replacement surgery
He was a nice and good doctor. After the knee replacement surgery, my knee doesn't feel not right and comfortable. I am not happy and satisfied with knee replacement since four years. I'm still walking limp and sometimes feel a little pain. I wish my knee is normal.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS SKILL AND QUALITY OF CARE!
Dr. Myrin did a total hip revision on me and I am so very grateful for his skill, quality of care and patient consideration. Dr. Myrin and his team excel in pre thru post surgery care! He was referred to me by a physical therapist that highly respects Dr. Myrin’s skill as he has worked with many of the Dr.’s patients during their recoveries. The same respect has been repeated by Home Health Care. Dr. Myrin is most definitely 5-STAR!

I am almost 5 months out after having a total hip replacement. My hip feels great, I'm back to normal exercise routine and most of all pain free! This was my very first surgery and Dr. Myrin has set the bar extremely high. He is very professional, easy to talk, has alot of patience and his office personal is great too. Dr. Myrin sends you home with a pamphlet with almost everything you need to know preparing, surgery and after. It was an extremely good reference book...also doctor was great about answering all questions that I had. I do highly recommend him. Dr. Myrin is an excellent doctor and an awesome person too!!!

Dr. Myrin has done surgery on my hip 3 times since June 2019. This was through none of his fault. He has led me in the right direction each time. I need the other hip replaced and I’ll be coming back. Every time I see Dr. Myrin I tell him that he’s a genius! He has been for me.

He is great and the aftercare from the surgery is fantastic. I've had both of my hips replaced resulting from a USAF injury and wish that I would have went to him for them. He seems to care about his patients and does his best to make sure everything is taken care of even before surgery to make sure no infection occurs. See him to make your surgery better.

Dr. Myrin did my total hip replacement in November of 2019. He is compassionate, kind and caring. He took the time to go over the entire procedure with my husband and myself. His follow-up was also done personally rather than by a PA or nurse. I loved it when he pumped his fist that I had taken absolutely no notice of a minor difference in the length of my left leg.

Dr. Myrin performed a hip replacement on my 81 year-old father after surgery by a different physician to repair a broken hip caused problems. Dad had other health issues that had to be addressed before he would do the surgery. We are a year out from his replacement and couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Myrin has an excellent bedside manner. I have spoken with other patients during this process and each one has spoken very highly of him.

If you are looking for a hip or knee surgeon with top-notch academic credentials & who is considered one of the best in his field by other doctors, as I was, look no farther than Dr Gerardo Myrin. I was blessed to be referred to Dr Myrin after living with hip pain for a year & trying every conservative treatment with no relief. After exploring a possible arthroscopic procedure & discussing my options with Dr Myrin, I chose hip replacement. It was totally my choice but he backed it 100%. He proves that his patients are all number one with him by answering all your questions & addressing any concerns. The booklet of information he provided totally prepared me for surgery, as well as what to expect & how best to help my own recovery process after discharge. I am now 8 weeks post-op & seeing positive strides toward complete recovery. I can absolutely recommend Dr Myrin. He is the best!

After suffering from arthritis in my hips for two years I finally found my way to Dr. Myrin. I found him to be a good listener as I talked about my health history. He took the time to thoroughly explain my x-rays and different options I had before deciding on a total hip replacement. After trying different anti-inflammatory medications as well as physical therapy I made the decision to have surgery. Dr. Myrin took great care in making the surgical experience easier and successful. He gave me information to read, sent me to a class with a care facilitator who gave information and answered questions. He went to great lengths to make certain my incision would heal properly and provided home health personnel to help me improve physically. I especially appreciated his genuine show of compassion towards me and understanding of how my condition was affecting my quality of life. I strongly recommend Dr. Myrin.

"You’re in good hands." We’ve all heard that slogan, and I wanted that same experience when I learned my hip needed to be replaced. Before my first appointment with Dr. Myrin, I felt wariness and uncertainty. Those emotions lessened while he patiently answered my questions. Instead of rushing me to surgery, he recommended PT, which lessened my pain. Later, when surgery became inevitable, Dr. M explained the steps involved, and provided materials containing information and directions. Even when I showed up at my pre-surgery appointment with tons of sticky notes poking out of the pages of that material – and I told him I needed more info -- he didn’t wince. Well, not outwardly. He just sat back, and explained everything to my satisfaction. Dr. M also dealt with an issue I had concerning my hearing while in the hospital, and he made sure I was accommodated. Plus, his office staff is kind and caring, and they even return phone calls! Yes, I’m in very good hands.
