Misdiagnosed me, I may need surgery because of him
I went to Dr. Igel with my ears clogged, my nose running and a phlegmy cough. He told me it was just allergies. I came back 2 weeks later with worse symptoms, it's still "just allergies" . I decided to go to an ENT and I was diagnosed with a nasty sinus infection. After one round of antibiotics it is still not gone. I am going on my second round and if that doesn't work I will need sinus surgery. I would not have to go through this if Dr. Igel actually looked into my symptoms and properly diagnosed me. I do not recommend.

Dr Igel has been our doctor for 26 years...even though my two youngest are 18 and 22 they still want to see him. He is the best.

Dr Igel has been my sons doctor for almost 4 years and I absolutely love him. He is extremely knowledgeable. My son has no issues When it comes to going to the doctor when he knows it is Dr Igel. He is calming and quite soothing when my son is sick. I am expecting my second child and can not wait for him/her to meet Dr. Igel!

Dr Igel is one of the few last amazing pediatricians around. He has taken care of my daughter since she ws born and never has he let me down with any choices of care he recommended for my daughter. He is extremely knowledgeable , kind loving and truly a professional. If you love your child you will send them to Dr Igel.

Took my newborn to his first visit with Dr. Igel as a referral from Montefiore Hospital when I gave birth back in Sept. Of 2015. He was great with my newborn and the selling point was when he also engaged my 4 year old daughter. You could tell he enjoyed interacting with children. In conversing with him, he was the Dr. That trained my daughter's Dr. In a different hospital. He was so great I ended up switching my daughter's health care with him within a week. He is the best!
