He's a liar
In 2009, he performed a hysterectomy & left my ovaries behind which he was supposed to remove. From the night of my surgery, and for the next 5 years, I had trouble urinating & had to learn to use a catheter on myself. When I asked him if I had Bard or Boston Scientific mesh when the issues with them were coming to light, he LIED right to my face & said absolutely not because he 'knew' there were issues with it. When I received my hospital report, it said clear as day that Bard & Boston Scientific were the 2 meshes that he used. I suffered for 5 years until I was sent to Dr. Lennox Hoyte, who is amazing, and he removed the bad mesh. From that day forward, 10 years ago, I have had absolutely no issues anymore. Dr. Capiello is horrible & in it only for the money!! He also didn't inform patients when he initially closed his practice. I had to find that out from my family Dr.
