Dr. Gerald Segal, MD

Dr. Segal has been my oncologist since 2018 and has been a voice of reason and caring through my treatment and beyond. I always feel well informed by him of my health issues, and he keeps a close eye on the many elements that determine how I'm doing. He's a kind and caring physician and takes the time to speak with me on every visit. I have felt in good hands from our first appointment seven years ago and continue to trust his insight and decisions. I am grateful to be one of his patients.

I have seen Dr Segal for several years now. As long as he is practicing I would not remotely consider going to another Oncologist. He is very personable and passionate. I know I’m not just another patient to him.

Dr. Segal is extremely conscientious, thorough, and dedicated to his patients. I am not an oncology patient but a hematology patient. I am relatively “healthy”, I’m sure, compared to most of his oncology patients. I admire the time he takes to care for all of his patients. I feel very fortunate to have him as my physician.

Dr Segal has been my Dr for the last 10 yrs. He has seen me thru multiple chemos and 2 stem cell transplants. I have felt comfortable with all my treatments because of his care. He takes his time to be current with anything going on with you and listens to any and all of your concerns. My journey has been so much easier because of him. I selfishly hope he never retires.

Dr. Segal is a rare find these days…he’s one of the old school doctors that actually takes his time with his patients and truly listens to them and answers all questions. His communication skills are beyond supreme. He also makes sure his clients truly understand what he shares with them as he does not seem to want any doubts or unaddressed concerns left. He was SO thorough in my visits with him ~ I am blown away by him and his knowledge. You would think he paid me to say all of this but I share this from my heart…he is that incredible!! What a gift to have him in my corner as a physician of mine. If there is a wait to see him he is worth it!!! Hands down the BEST doctor I’ve ever encountered in my 57 years.

Every month I see him as well as get blood tested & a chemo shot in my belly by nurses on his staff. He always provides a comple physical exam & rehires the blood work prior to going upstairs for the shot. We talk about treatment & he responds to any questions I have. I have seen h on a monthly basis since 2017 & he is compassionate professional & one of highest rated Dr for multiple Muslims in the state. I have been in remission of the disease due to his great knowledge & care.
