Dr. Gerald Cahill, MD

Dr. Cahill is an excellent surgeon.. and he knows it. Almost too much I think. If you're looking for a compassionate, understanding, talkative, "answer all your questions" type doctor.. Look the other way and go elsewhere. In total between all of my visits ( and there was a lot ) I probably only saw him 3 times and spoke with him a total of 15 minutes, if that. And my encounters with him were... hostile. He's kinda rude. But he'll tell you exactly how it is. So I don't know if it's really "rude" or just.. straight to the point. You ever see Dr Now on 600-lb life? Those kind of vibes lol. He didn't even check up on me after my surgery and I was there for two nights. That was probably my biggest beef with him through the entire process. HOWEVER, I've lost 100lbs. So.. I guess he did his job right. He's just cocky. Anyway, I'd recommend him LOL.

The staff are very profesional. The Dr. Cahill is a great surgeon. The Dietician Dale is also amazing. I would give Cahill an A+++ My Gastric sleeve surgery was successful.

I had my sleeve surgery in June of 2016 and dropped 185lbs and have kept it off and Dr Cahill promised me I’d drop 100lbs and his staff were and still very helpful. I would highly recommend Dr Cahill and staff I gained my life back and now fitter and healthier than I was at the age of 22 now 47 years old and loving life and health again

My wife had gastric bypass a year ago and ended up getting pregnant 12 weeks post op. When we went in for her yearly checkup we had our 3 month old son with us. He made us feel like we were the preachers kids having a baby out of wedlock, Ie. talking down to us about having him before we were supposed to try. My wife replied, “well he’s healthy, and I’m healthy, so let’s move on and talk about what I’m supposed to do from here” and he would not move past it. Continuing to make us feel ashamed.

Dr. Cahill performed my Gastric Sleeve surgery and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. He and his staff take care of you as though you were family. They always take the time to answer any questions you may have and get you through the insurance process with ease. If you're thinking about having a bariatric procedure done then you won't be disappointed if you select Dr. Cahill!

Dr Cahill performed my roux en y surgery 12 years ago and I have never experienced such a warm and kind spirit prior to his. He is an excellent doctor!

He's a great doctor with a wonderful staff. You can ask any question, call anytime and a very friendly place. I thank God for the marvelous job he did and staff. Keep up the good work.
