The very best for Lung Diagnostics and Treatment
Dr Verghese treated my 92-year-old mother for her lung issues that began with blood clots and a year later she had pneumonia. Not only is he a great doctor for Lung-Disease, he cares. I would often visit the hospital only to find him checking on my mother at all hours of the day. He must never sleep! This certainly made our family feel at ease knowing she was getting the best doctor care possible.

I wish I could give 6 stars.
Dr. George Verghese has been my pulmonary specialist since 2018 when my pulmonary sarcoidosis came back. He has managed my care and medication very well. Now 4 years I have taken a downward turn (not due to him), as my lungs are wearing out. He prescribed a new medication for me which is very expensive. He suggested that I apply for financial assistance, and I did. I got ZERO copay on this expensive medication. I think it will save my life. He is professional and his RN named Ivy is great. They are a very caring team. He is excellent.

Very nice MD, good bedside manner. I like him a lot. However, appointments are months out, return phone calls are rare, I was routinely blamed for not picking up calls when nothing ever rang thru to my phone. Referred me to another specialty via his nurse with no indication why, and said he would give me biopsy results and changed his mind and said the referral doc would give them...3 weeks away. He refused to give them after he had stated he would. Very hurtful.
