Dr. Schmieder was recommended to me by my primary physician, who usually sends me to only the best when he recommends a specialist. Dr. Schmieder is excellent, as are the colleagues in his office. I have had two skin cancers removed by the MOHS system in that office, and both times the cancer was entirely removed. The focus in that office is on the patient, making the patient comfortable, explaining procedures and conditions in detail (especially as I am a former registered nurse). I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Schmieder's office to family and friends.

Family. That is the word which I would use to describe my experience at Park Avenue Dermatology. Dr. Schmieder is very professional and his approach to patient care is like family, as if he is evaluating and treating you as his own son, daughter, brother, sister, or parents. Dr. Schmieder listens to your concerns, explains medical terms in elementary details (easy to comprehend), and comforts you with exceptional bedside manner. You have my most sincere recommendation for his quality of care.

I have been going to Dr. Schmieder for several years. I started seeing him after I was examined and treated by another fairly well known dermatologist in riverside. Dr. Schmieder was and is kind, professional, thorough, trustworthy, and is the standard by which all dermatologists are judged. The first dermatologist that I saw in riverside ( obviously another doctors office who in my opinion cares only about padding his wallet) made me not ever want to go to a dermatologist again.

He is absolutely the BEST in Jacksonville, FL and worldwide. Very trusting, his personality is so wonderful and great. His warmth and kindness makes you feel like at Home. You get real results with him because he has the best knowledge about skin. When you have to wait, it is worth it, because I know he takes time for me too. I know I speak for my family, friends, neighbors, everybody we know go to see him and they are very happy with him. Thank you Dr. George Schmieder, you are truly the BEST
