I have had surgery four times with general anesthesia. Dr. Rader did the most thorough interview and examination prior to the surgery that I have ever had. He took plenty of time to go over various issues and discuss alternative protocols for administration of anesthesia. Surgery went great, and I had no after effects from the anesthesia. I would recommend him to anyone. I indicated that the wait time could be improved, but that did not have anything to do with Dr. Rader and was a surgery scheduling issue.

I would not take a snake to this man. He gave an order to give a medication IVP that should not be combined with opioid pain meds that almost killed me in a recovery room. He did not have the guts to even tell me what happened and all I got from the hospital was the run around to try and cover up his mistake. He also gave me another medication to which I am allegic. After 35 years running a newsroom I can smell a cover up.
