Dr. George Panagakos, MD

I went to Dr Panagakos because I've had chronic neck pain for several years. It is very painful and has sent me to the emergency room a few times when the pain has become unbearable. After having an MRI, the doctor said he thought he could help me by giving me an RFA. This is a procedure that I had had previously (with another doctor) that was totally ineffective. Dr Panagakos performed the RFA. Again, it was totally ineffective. At my follow up appointment, Dr Panagakos told me that he had performed this procedure successfully over 1000 times. He said it had only failed twice before. And on those occasions, he said, the patients had lied about their condition. He seemed to be implying that I, too, had lied about my condition. I assure you, my pain is real. I still have it. It wakes me up several times a night. Dr Panagakos said there was nothing more that he could do. Apparently he can only do that one procedure. No alternative options. No referrals. I never heard from him again.

He makes you feel at ease with your condition and treatment! Has a warm heart and very pleasant demeanor. He’s the only doctor who ever administered a nerve block that actually helped with my pain!

the backup office system is terrible. Not the doc's office but the billing --scheduling --authorizations etc. You never get a person when calling, always goes to v-mail and then they never return you call for days. No way to run an office. You will be very frustrated.

Everyone needs a go-to guy in their life ; someone who will come thru for you when you need it most. For me, dr. Panagakos is that guy. He ended 8 months of pain for me and gave me a normal life again. It doesn’t get much better than that. Howard Farris. 5 stars

I have a bad pain I visited many specialist till my primary healthcare provider referred me to the Dr panagakos or Dr Brown but the representative refused to give me an appointment till she will call my primary healthcare to know about what medications I received . It is the first time I face with this situation and I am very disappointed ??

This is a very special doctor. He listens and really cares about patient wellbeing.

Went in extreme pain did nothing to help it. A total waste of money and time won't be back.

What I like about Dr. Panagakos. He took his time and explained the questions I asked. I explained to him, I don't like shots. He gave me a choice about having a series of injections. When I had the injections he hit the right spot. He has change office and I chose to follow him to USA Spine. It's very important to have a doctor you can trust and explained your options for treatment. He has a good bedside manners at his office and the surgery center.

Trust 5 Star and he does a good job of explaining your condition and calming you down regarding your procedure which with me was having injections in my Back .

A physician that I truly trust and would have no problem recommending to anyone else. While others physicians can sometimes leave you hanging and just push you along. He truly seems to care about thinking outside the box when necessary to figure out a solution.
