In pain still!! – Dec 13, 2024

Carpal Tunnel Surgery
6 years ago Dr Myo reattached the bicep to the bone in my left arm. Since that was very successful, I asked him the following year for carpal tunnel surgery. When I awoke after the surgery, Dr. Myo walked up to look at my chart, and made a notation. I told him my hand and 2 middle fingers were in severe pain. He never said a word to me and walked away. After surgery, I was always seen by his PA, and never saw Dr. Myo again. I was not sent to therapy for several weeks and today, over 5 years later, I still have pain and numbness in my palm and my 2 middle fingers. This was the worst experience ever!!!

My surgery site has unnecessarily bulging ugly scar from this provider! I was evaluated by his PA & want not introduced to the surgeon till day of surgery; plus the office rescheduled my surgery 5 times. I'm very unhappy with results!! I strongly encourage people to seek professional help elsewhere...

Worst experience of my life. Suffered for almost 2 years and ended up with a shoulder replacement that should have happened in the beginning. I wouldn’t go to him again if he was the only doctor alive.

Absolutely awful. Dr. Myo didn't even introduce himself, I initially thought I was seeing his P.A., but based off of his photo and some of the other reviews, I met Dr. Myo... Zero bedside manner. Dr. Myo seemed to have been in a terrible mood. He yanked my very damaged finger in every direction, hurt my finger in the process, and said verbatim "Well, they f***** up your hand". He acted like I was wasting his time. I was in such shock that this was his idea of a first impression. My finger still hurts after he yanked it around, and now I need to look for a new Dr. to fix a very time sensitive issue with my finger. I'm seriously appalled with Dr. Myo and the treatment I just received.

Worst surgeon ever, messed up my knee, made different excuses every appointment, ignored my complaints, and when I went to the hospital for the bad infection it took him 4 days if my 5 day stay to come see me, bedside manner is the worst I have ever seen and I worked for doctors for over 25 years. Hade to have my total knee redone my a REAL surgeon because Dr Myo would not listen or admit there was something really wrong. Stay far far away from this man

The staff and PA were very friendly and helpful, but he is ,without a doubt, one of the worst doctors I’ve seen. Nonexistent bedside manner. In the 3 minutes he was in the room he told me I was “too young” to have problems, even though if he had actually read my history he’d know this was an injury. Didn’t let me speak more than 2 words and yanked my very injured wrist in every direction until I was sobbing then told me just to “stop babying it” and left the room. Called my primary care physician and hey informed me they’d never refer a patient to him again. Just an awful experience.

Best ortho surgeon in AZ. I am 75 and have had 6 back surgeries so when I fell and tore my rotator cuff, I was horrified at the thought of more surgery. Dr. Myo was excellent and the Empower Therapy group he has sent me too are excellent too. It has been just a little over 6 weeks and I can almost straitened my arm completely over my head. I am almost back to normal. Thanks to the staff at both places but mostly Dr. Myo! Stephen Adams of Gilbert

Horrible experience. The front office and medical assistant do not communicate. Also Dr Mio does not communicate with either. I tried to get a procedure done but it's impossible with the lack cooperation between personal. Being a professional it's a sad situation.

In my 5 appointments to see Dr. Myo, he has NEVER seen me. Always one of his PAs. Ryan Bart’s is wonderful, and apparently covers most of Dr. Myo’s appointments since I have never waited less than an hour to be seen for my appointments. I met Dr. Myo for the first and only time moments before he did surgery on my hand. He gave incorrect information to my husband about my condition. My problem is worse than before surgery. The front office lady is rude and incompetent.

Fractured my 5th metatarsal, paid my co-pay, and X-Rays were taken. Dr. Myo hurriedly walked in, squeezed my foot and advised it was healing. A week later, I find my insurance was billed for 'surgery'at $559.00, which they covered a portion and left me with 200+ to cover. Dr. Myo advised I should be 'grateful' that I am 'only' paying that amount and he has to cover his overhead and processing of my visit, as well as his expertise, and 'that's just how it is'.

My appointment was with Dr. Mika. He had the worse bed side manner I've ever experienced. I went in the office for a fractured shoulder (humerus). He told me there was nothing he can do. He stated that I needed to move it around and stop babying it. He was just very blunt and rude. I paid my co pay on the way out and left. I didn't even wait for the paperwork he was going to give me for my employer, I was so upset I was crying. I'm in so much pain and he didn't care at all. I will never go back.
