Earlier 2024, I had the good fortune of being referred to Dr. George Mazpule with "One Surgical Specialists," in Hackensack. NJ for my ventral hernia surgery. From our first consultation with Dr. Mazpule and his courteous and caring staff, my wife and I knew he was the right surgeon for me. His amiable personality, expertise and experience in robotic-assistant surgery coupled with a willingness to listen and answer all of our concerns about the procedure and recovery process put us completely at ease. I had the ventral hernia repair procedure in March, and Dr. Mazpule and his entire robotic-assistant surgical team at Hackensack Meridian Health were amazing. I came to Dr. Mazpule for a second opinion on a hernia because the doctor I had previously visited did not inspire much confidence. What a difference! Dr. Mazpule is a gem. His office staff was efficient, competent, and he was very thorough and a great listener. When it came time to my surgery, he was a pro. I am SO happy I chose him to perform the surgery. He also was very kind to refer me to another great doctor for a different ailment. If you need hernia surgery, I 100% recommend Dr. Mazpule.

I would recommend Dr. Mazpule to everyone. My husband wishes he had seen him before he had his surgery! I had gastric sleeve done this month and everything went great. Dr. Mazpule is friendly, professional, informative, non-judgmental, and has a wonderful bed side manner. He answers all questions, takes his time explaining procedures, and is truly comfortable talking to. I am so lucky to have found him, he has helped me change my health for the better. I had recent robotic sigmoid re-section laparoscopic surgery done by Dr Mazpule and was amazed how quick the recovery was. I was back to work in 2 weeks with just tiny incisions! I was recently a patient of Dr. Mazpule who performed a hernia repair. I had a follow up visit with him with nothing but positive feedback to offer. The experience went way beyond my expectations from the first day he discussed the procedure with me, up to and including the follow up visit. Dr. Mazpule is one of the best doctors I have had the honor of having as my doctor. From the first days office visit. He went over everything and said all will be fine. The day of surgery he came to see before and after surgery. His bedside manner is outstanding. Even my follow up visit he checked me over and said I can on with my life so to speak. Doctor Mazpule recently performed double hernia surgery on my husband. He was informative, friendly and very compassionate. He did a great job and was very present to both my husband and me. I would recommend Dr. Mazpule to anyone who needs surgery in his area of expertise.

I am a 61 year old male with both an inguinal and sports hernia. Also was a previous prostate cancer patient. I was referred by my doctor to Dr. Mazpule. The experience from presurgery, his explanations and surgery and follow up were all first rate. After less then 3 weeks I am ready to return to swimming, jogging, biking and golf. He and his staff made the experience easy right from my first visit throughout my care. His surgical knowledge and also patient compassion helped throughout.
