Dr. George Mansour, MD

I’ve been going to Dr Mansour for about 24 years. Always takes his time and really does listen. He is honest and if he doesn’t know what is going on . He keeps going until I have an answer. Office staff has always been pleasant. I still miss Tracy very much. I loved his first nurse Joy and still miss her. Janet is very nice and always friendly. I absolutely love Cathy the NP . Will continue to go there until Dr retires.

Dr. Mansour is a excellent doctor but he is surrounded by horrible Staff especially Liz at the desk. He needs to wake up and fire all of them. I am no longer his patient because of the nasty way I am always treated.

Liz is by far one of the most nastiest rude condescending people I have ever met. The reviews on here don’t lie. Trying to get my husband a doctor. She was so nasty on the phone and talked down to me. We filled out the paperwork and I walk in and she talked to me like I was a toddler “don’t you remember I told you my computers shut down 10 mins before closing” I let it go and didn’t respond to that. Because frankly lady you shut down the computer you’re a liar. I work in the medical field. You control your computer. And then the eye rolling when I asked her to explain why they don’t take his insurance when his insurance company says they do. This lady is ruining your company. Everyone around here already got your number sarasota knows what a mean rude person you have working there.

Dr. Mansour is a great physician. I have a great deal of respect for the way he gets right to the point and doesn't mince words. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very good at what he does. He is kind, but blunt. He will listen to everything you have to say and is very respectful; he doesn't try to rush through your exam and rush you out of the room. He makes every effort to regard your personal treatment preferences while still being attentive to your needs as a physician. The office is very clean and calm and welcoming, and all of the staff in this practice are great. I am very satisfied as a patient and I highly recommend Dr. George as a primary care doctor.

Very unprofessional Front Desk (Liz). I received multiple calls regarding re-scheduling my appointment and I happily obliged each time. My appointment was cancelled last minute which is fine but I do not appreciate being told rudely that it was my fault that I never received the last message when there wasn't one left on my phone. I had cleared out my afternoon work appointments to make time for this appointment. From my experience if the front desk person cannot be trusted you cant trust the doctors either. I recommend going elsewhere.

My blood pressure was high and I stopped in without an appointment to get a reading and Dr Mansour was on his way out the door but waited for the results. He immediately prescribed a RX and told me to come back in a week or so. Another time I was in severe pain and I called to see if he could see me. I was able to get in within 2 hours. He recommended I go to emergency to get cat scan in fear of bowel blockage. It was not the case and although I was released by Doctors Hospital, I was back there the next evening and got admitted. They have always gotten my referrals done within 3 to 5 days. Yes Sandy may seem a little brass at first but I think she maybe a little overwhelmed at times and does not mean to take it out on anyone. This is my first year with Dr Mansour and I am pleased with the services.

hardly any wait time, nurses efficient, doctor thorough and understanding as is physicians assistant. Appropriate diagnosis and recommended diagnosistics if necessary. Very satisfied with doctor and his practice.

Been a patient for over 5 years and really like Dr Mansour. He takes the the time to explain everything, is very good in diagnosing a problem, and he is very friendly. His PA is also very good. The only draw back with his office is trying to get referrals set quickly. This can be very frustrating.

I could not ask for a better experience. The nurse PA was very comforting and patient with me, listening to ALL my medical issues. I felt so at ease and important. They went out of their way to help me find affordable Rx, made sure I understood everything and was relaxed through the whole visit. I may still have my aches and pains physically, but mentally I was feeling fantastic. They're a group of awesome people who work there, from the receptionist, nurses, assistants & of course the doctor!

I LOVE Dr. Mansour! He is, by far, the BEST Primary Care Physician I've ever had. He is friendly, very intelligent, takes time to explain things and make recommendations, he's funny and has a great sense of humor. While he's business-like and doesn't just sit around and shoot the breeze, he has always taken time with me to listen, recommend alternative options, and he's got a positive attitude about health. He also works WITH me - we are partners in my health care. That's the best!
