Unprofessional
Common redirick in regards to the type of questioning very invasive in a personal manner and somewhat harassing as if to suggest he relentlessly subjects the patient in a very provocative fashion he needs to be more conscious about personal issues causing stress to the patient and with the intent of intimidating a patient

I should have posted this much earlier. Over a year ago I had a triple bypass. Dr. Hughes and his team, and the nurses and staff at Duke University hospital were an amazing team. My operation went very well as did my recovery. Dr. Hughes explained everything very clearly, was very patient, and very personable. He instilled a lot of confidence in me. The nursing staff was excellent, as were all the other aides and technicians.

Highly recommended for aortic anyeurism conditions. Dr. Hughes represents the best qualities in the modern physician, with a combination of clinical excellence & precision and an engaging, informative manner of interacting with his patients. He has a strong team of PAs and nurses that work together with him to provide patients with care that serves to save their life by treating the condition, and also to enhance the quality of their life by addressing the patient's broader medical profile.

As far as a CV surgeon is concerned, doc is a true rock star with demanding standards and extraordinary skill. Several of his fellow docs said to me 'if I was having cardiac surgery I would want him'. Thank you doc!
