Dr. Herr listened to my symptoms, studied the referral notes and asked appropriate questions, did a thorough exam and ordered appropriate follow-up lab work and diagnostic imaging. I felt listened to and have profound respect for his professional abilities. I'm in good hands.

Dr Herr acted like I was wasting his time by trying to explain what neurological symptoms I was having. Called my symptoms a Complex migraine but it was actually a partial simple seizure. Missed the diagnosis completely because he didn’t believe I was having these symptoms. Then passed me off to his partner who could barely speak English. After 7 years of wearing a CPAP, his partner asked me, in broken English, if I knew how to tighten my CPAP mask. Really?!?! This shows me that neither Dr Herr or his partner never bothered to read my history before meeting with me. Never again! I’ve found another neurologist who was able to diagnose my symptoms accurately.

Dr Herr is very good at explaining medical issues and how they can be helped. Very few doctors have any real knowledge of Spina Bifida, but thankfully Dr Herr has helped me get through some difficult medical issues. He is a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor and I highly recommend him!

I actually really like Dr. Herr. I saw him for basically Thyroid brain fog from my Thyroidectomy. Then migraines, occipital neuralgia, and a small brain aneurysm being monitored by a Neurosurgeon. People say he interrupts, but it happens with people with rapid brain movement ( fast thought stream). He has always taken the time to explain thing, reassure, and you can tell he cares. The brain aneurysm is scary business, but he was so kind. He is trying to fix the migraines

I saw Dr. Herr to discuss the results of an MRI from a car accident. He disagreed with the radiologist's diagnosis of bulging disks and he made it very clear that I was wasting his time by being there. He also performed an EMG which he made sure I knew was only being done because my PCP requested it. He wouldn't listen to anything I said and if I was able to talk, it was only 4-5 words before he would interrupt to tell me I'm wrong. And for the love of God, do not let him do acupuncture on you!

I am just starting with Dr Herr but I already like him. I have been having problems with my legs for years now. My previous doctor did very little and just assumed it was diabetic nerve pain. When I switched primary care my new provider sent me to Dr Herr. Dr Herr, in 5 mins with a safety pin, ruled that diagnosis out. I was so happy. He did a CT to make sure it wasn't my back in the off chance. Nope, not it. Now we move on to what it actually is. I know he will find it.

I've never had a doc that interrupted so much as I tried to explain symptoms! Pretty much a shut down so he could talk and tell you his plan. Not impressed and won't go back. I still have the same symptoms I went to him for. Tried a couple of meds but didn't work for me. His staff are nice folks.

He spent plenty of time talking with me regarding my complex migraines. He described in fully what a complex migraine is where other neurologists told me not to worry about them and sent me home with large doses of pain medication. Herr worked with me to devise a plan for brain health. Wrote it down on a paper and sent me home with the documentation. I'm glad I went to him when others were saying not to go. I did not feel he was derogatory towards me as a woman. Easy to talk to...

I'm not sure this guy is really a neurologist. He lets you know that 'he doesn't have time'to read your medical records and doesn't mind saying so. Every visit was like starting from scratch.. Not a good listener....he interrupts constantly and and reminds you that 'he is the doctor' Total waste of time.

Terrible, he didn't listen to my symptoms and kept interrupting me. I left feeling worse and with more questions than when I arrived. A waste of my time and money.

I suffer from epileptic and non-epileptic seizures. Dr. Herr tried to convince my family I was faking seizures. He told my parents to dangle fun things at me so I would quit faking seizures. My parents would tell me if I didn't have a seizure we would do something fun, take a trip etc, but I still had seizures. Dr. Herr made my teen years miserable. I've never forgotten how mean and terrible he was to me. I'm afraid of doctors because of him. He's a mean doc. I don't recommend him.
