I highly recommend Dr Bailey. Kidney stones love me and I intend to stay with his practice. My husband has also been treated for a couple of things. We both think very highly of him and his office.

Very high competence
I went to consult with Dr Bailey regarding my high PSA reading, and he did a biopsy on my prostrate. I was informed that I had advance prostrate cancer. He sent me to CT Scan. the result showed the cancer was confined to my prostrate. Then Dr Bailey recommended Radiation treatment. I completed 9 weeks of radiation. 2 PSA test followed showed almost zero. Overall, I was vert satisfied with Dr Bailey's performance and competence. I would definitely recommend him.Note: I am a retired engineer. I studied and researched about the subject of any of my illness and asked the right question to the doctor. It definitely helped.I do want to make a comment of any front office staff in Texas Health system. I have not known any one was interested in the patients wellness or follow-up. They definitely needed more training.I guess good help was hard to find in Texas.

Very poor service/follow-up
Had shock wave treatment for kidney stones at the hospital by Dr. Bailey at Urology Clinics of North Texas. I was informed that they would follow-up in three months, but never heard from them. The treatment went well, but the doctor/associates never did a post procedure follow-up. They said that they had called, but that is not true. I have always received their calls and/or texts. After six months of not hearing from his office, I called him. The staff showed little concern for the lack of follow-up and did not even apologize. I am not confident in his practice and I am currently looking for another urologist. Obviously, I do not recommend this clinic.

This review pertains to Dr Bailey at Urologist of North Texas He did great getting me in ASAP for my 11mm stone and lithotripsy procedure but they did not follow up (on an anesthetic procedure), they attempted to schedule no follow up Appt either. And didn’t reach out to me about getting my stone sample! That should have been my first clue. Now my biggest concern (which is making me switch urologists) is my recent visit. I went to the ER for basically kidney pain, headache, lethargy and vomiting. They did a UA, urine culture and CT among other things. The ER doctor and the radiologist both agreed I had a kidney infection. After 3 days I went back to the ER and had everything repeated and that time they said I had a urine infection. I booked an emergency Appt with Dr Bailey and was absolutely heartbroken and shocked by this visit. He basically came in and said “I read the reports and you’re fine, no infections at all” and basically went silent and told me nothing. As I started to cry (because am I crazy? Was the pain real? Can I trust the ER? SOMETHING had to have been wrong with me!?) he just left the room. No apology no “let’s do our own tests to confirm etc” NOTHING. He also gave me the impression to stop all antibiotics because I have nothing, right? But it gets better.. The following day I had a follow up with my endocrinologist, a wonderfully gifted doctor of the endocrine system and internal medicine. She read the reports, saw the UA and told me I definitely had/have a kidney infection. So far no pain but confirmed for me to continue the antibiotics prescribed from the first visit. Ever since his appalling treatment and my terrible experience I’ve been thinking about it a lot and feeling sad/mad/upset/let down over and over. I made the decision to tell other people about my experience through these reviews and also to immediately change to a different urologist myself. Basically do not go here or you’ll receive below standards of caring.

Not Going Back!
Nice man but rushed us out. Hubby went in for multiple UTIs. A week later went to see our PCP for another UTI and found out from our PCP that Dr. Bailey should have done more than rush us out the door w/a script to shrink the prostate. No treatment for UTI, no exam to figure out why he was getting multiple UTIs, didnt bother to check where our ultrasound was to review the results. PCP sending us to a diff urologist hoping this doc will be more thorough.

At first I was apprehensive about this place but later realized it was my fear that made me feel that way. Dr Bailey has put my fears at ease. He is very attentive to his patients concerns. In the hospital he was especially attentive, caring, and thorough. I am very happy with my doctor and very glad I chose him. I recommend Dr Bailey especially to anyone that is dealing with a difficult and scary diagnosis.
