Dr Abate delivered my baby and was amazing! I couldn’t of asked for a better doctor. I had a natural birth and he was patient and listened to what I wanted. He truly cares about his patient. I only saw him once in the office during my pregnancy and when I saw him again for my delivery he keeps notes and it felt as if he knew me. He takes time to get to know his patients. My baby had to go to the special care unit and he came to check on my baby to see how he was doing. Overall he’s a great doctor and I would recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Abate was so pushy with me about scheduling a C Section, even though I didn't need one. He also tried to pressure me into tying my tubes. I have never once mentioned the want to get my tubes tied. As someone who suffers from endometriosis, I would much rather get a hysterectomy. But I'm not done having children yet, so his pushiness really turned me off as a patient. In fact, I'm scheduling an induction specifically so he is not on call when I give birth.

The best OBGYN ???? so compassionate,explains procedures well,listens,answers all ur questions & is a 5 star Dr. He loves what he does & you can tell & he calls you personally to ask how you are feeling after surgery makes me feel safe & that I have a Dr. That actually cares about my health.
