When I went to Dr. Braden for the first time, I was trying to explain to him what I was concerned about and he snapped at me for no apparent reason. Then a minute later, he snapped at me again! Mind you, this was the first time I ever had an appointment with him and I didn't say or do anything wrong. Just as with any other patient, I was just explaining to him my symptoms; this is why people go to the doctor! Because we are concerned about our health! I read the notes he put in regarding this appointment, and the following are some things he and his staff wrote: 1. " Her stools are really just soft and sticky and this is very bothersome to her "psychiatrically". 2. "I do not believe there is any underlying GI disorders". 3. "She is very concerned about soft, sticky stools and is worried about the color and smell of her stools". 4. "She has been "unwilling" to bring in stool samples". I had been having soft abnormal stools for years and years and had gone to a doctor once before, but we weren't able to find what exactly had been going on. So, I go to Dr. Braden, and the following is more information on this particular visit: 5. He accused me of forgetting to take my psychiatric medicine "all the time". I have had the psych issues for years and years, and I DO usually remember to take them. He was accusing me of something that was untrue. Another reason why I made this appointment is because I had been sick to my stomach and throwing up several times a day. Here is another lie he wrote about me: 7. "She has missed taking many of her medications over the past couple of days because she has been so ill." I was still taking my medicine, but had thrown them up because I was so sick. These are the main things he wrote in his report. This man was basically discriminating against me because of my mental disability. I have never been to a doctor who was even near as rude to me than Dr. Braden and his staff. He was not concerned about me at all.....a doctor NOT concerned about his patients? Just because I have a mental disability. And once again, it was ridiculous that he said that he did not believe I had any gastroenterology disorders. He was basically accusing me of being so mentally ill that I believed I had the gastro disorders and actually did not. Out of all the doctors I have been to in my life, he was one of the worst. I cannot believe any doctor would be so unprofessional, dishionest, judgemental, accusatory, and just plain ridiculous. This man has no business being a doctor. He should be fired.

Beware
Dr. Braden was condescending and minimized my concerns. When I expressed my concerns about this visit to the office manager, I was not only ignored but told to seek care elsewhere and have been going to an excellent GI doctor in Ogden ever since. After having ulcerative colitis for 31 years, I have seen several GI doctors. Most have been very good, but Dr. Braden was insensitive, uncaring, and lazy when it came to seeking treatment options. I would not recommend him to anyone. I have family members and friends who have had similar experiences with this doctor.

Total disappointment
We are not happy with doctor G. Braden because this is almost 3 weeks when my husband has internal bleeding and we don’t have any idea what’s going on. So far we have delay after delay with every test and no explanation what’s going on.

I have been going to Dr Braden since 1993. He is the best gastric doctor in the world. I was very upset when he left Philly to go to Utah but understood why he went. I am highly recommending him to anybody & everybody who needs a great gastroenterologist. Dr Braden is the very best at what he does & has the best bedside manor ever!! I truly miss him but wish him the best of everything with his new job & his family & new grand baby. My best to everybody who chooses Dr Braden.

Dr. Braden is the best in his field. Not only does he take the time to listen to you and explains to you what the medical terms in a way that you understands. Dr. Braden goes beyond the his specialty of GI, he look's at all your medical issues. I could go on and on about hoe great of a Doctor he is. If for any reason Dr. Braden would relocate his practice I would follow him anywhere for an appointment, and advise.

Dr Braden is the best dr I have ever seen. He's very smart and knows everything about everything. His bed side manner is great and he cares greatly for his patients. He is a genious when it comes to prescribing meds. His knowledge of the very latest meds and procedures is amazing. He has been my dr for over 25 years and I trust him totally with my life. Due to his knowledge of adjusting meds and compassion he personally kept my dad alive probably 5 or 6 years longer than he would have HE'S GREAT
