Biggest Mistake We Ever Made
I'm full of regret that I ever let this man treat my husband. What he lacks in competence, he makes of for with his smug & inflated ego. Hiring him may just be the last mistake we will ever make. He gave irresponsible advice and we made the profound mistake of trusting him. If you're looking for a doctor who takes a better safe than sorry approach, this isn't your guy.

Exactly the kind of doctor you hope for!
Dr. Ledgerwood performed my vasectomy and I could not recommend him more highly. He's direct and upfront, has an incredible sense of humor, and most importantly he is a deeply compassionate person with a desire to see people flourish. The world would be a better place with more Geoff Ledgerwoods.

Never to return again
I had numerous kidney stone surgeries with Dr Ledgerwood. Often stones were missed with no explanations why. Staff seemed nervous and in edge. Dr Ledgerwood's bedside manner is bipolar. Sometimes he is very pleasant, other times abrupt and rude. I switched to another practice where the urologist is very thorough and takes time to explain what needs to be done and the doctor and staff are all amazing.

I had the very same experience that all of these folks that posted a ONE STAR review. Dr. Ledgerwood was condescending, rude, impatient with my questions. I had major surgery, including a nephrectomy, and after surgery, I never saw him again, he sent a PA to follow-up in the hospital and had horrible bedside manor when I did see him. I had the worst experience with this guy and I highly recommend you find someone else. Even on the day of my diagnosis, when he told me I had kidney cancer, he was in the room for a total of NO MORE THAN 3 minutes, and off he went....never made eye contact with me. I also, like everyone else, waited an hour to see him, when I did, and he spent 2 to 3 minutes with me each visit (Yes, while I had cancer). The guy has NO PEOPLE SKILL and exhibits a lack of care and compassion. Run the other way.

The first couple of times I saw Dr. Ledgerwood, he seemed concerned with my issues. This last time he pretty much dismissed my pain. I wanted to get a test to make sure everything was okay with my bladder, but he wouldn't do it. He kept telling me that it was fine...despite my pain. He just put me on more meds. I asked him what I was supposed to do about the pain...he said I would just have to deal with it. Maybe he was having an off day, but I was very disappointed with his lack of care.

Dr Ledgerwood was a referral from a family friend of ours who had been fighting prostate cancer and other cancers in his body for nearly 10 years. My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer by Geoff. He was firm but caring with all of us. We struggled with the diagnosis and when I said to him personally as a daughter, what would you do if this was your father? He pulled his cell phone out and called the oncologist he wanted my dad to see. We were scheduled just a few days later and 45 radiation treatments would follow after everything was determined. There is no other urology office or doctor I would see but Dr. Ledgerwood or one of his associates. He is outstanding!

This doctor was very condescending; showing a sense of superiority and positionally in regards to the doctor patient relationship. Additionally, he was very dismissive of my possible diagnosis based on information that I was sharing with him about my medical history instead of investigating and looking into the issues himself. From the moment he walked in the room it was clear that this person did not care about me as a person; I was just a number, another patient in the line. I am currently going through the process of making an official complaint. I will certainly not waste any more time from my life meeting with this uncompassionate, unempathetic person.

Wow. I wish all doctors were like Ledgerwood. I'm young but have had 2 kidney stones. Ledgerwood is the first doctor who hasn't just told me "drink more water." Instead, he is helping me determine the underlying cause and working on a proactive treatment plan to keep me from suffering in the future. Thank you, doctor. Anyone w/ complaints about wait times-remember it's bc he stayed at the hospital helping patients with serious issues- you'd want the same & it shows deep commitment to patients

Treated patients like idiots, balked at wanting to see what was being removed. Extremely rude and condescending. He might have high quality of work but one wants to feel compassion and care when dealing with cancer, not snarky comments. He should have just been a fitness model or something that doesn't require a kind personality.

I met Dr. Ledgerwood while on vacation in Colorado, when I was in need of emergency kidney stone surgery. It was an acute situation, and being out of state, I had no prior history with the doctors at Parker Adventist hospital. He was incredibly reassuring, had superb bedside manner and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend him to others. He made a tenuous situation much better by providing excellent care and concern for my well being.

I had been having pain for over a year following a hernia surgery. I had seen a urologist in Pueblo multiple times who diagnosed the cause of my pain as an incurable disease called interstitial cystitis. While in Denver visiting a friend, I decided to get a second opinion and was referred to Dr. GL. He agreed to see me that day since I was from out of town, and gave up his lunch hour to meet with me. He quickly had my case figured out, and within 2 weeks I was pain free for the 1st time in years

Comments below are spot on - full of himself. Waiting in the lobby for an hour or more for each appointment, arrogant and full of himself. Leaves you in the room alone for long periods waiting. Follow-Up visits are with a PA - he is too busy. Bedside manner deserves negative stars.

While I appreciate the other comments and understand that every one comes from their experience and perceptions. Having said that, Dr. Ledgerwood is currently treating my husband. His demeanor was extremely gracious and extremely knowledgeable. He does have a sense of humor that I see some patients might misconstrue but he is very authentic "tell it like it is". I believe my husband is in the best care in his hands. If you need a urologist, I would highly recommend him.

If you don't mind waiting in the lobby for an hour or more for each appointment then go to this guy. He is also arrogant and self serving. He only want to do thing his way without regard for patient input. The practices insurance office is also lacking. I had a bladder cancer procedure from him and the deductible came to nearly $1000. However, I had the exact same procedure from a previous Urologist in Texas and my out of pocket was $0. Horrible doctor and horrible office staff.
