went to this gynecologist for the first time and never again. I checked in for my appt in which they took me in quickly. However I was left in the room for an hour without any update until the doctor came in. While being in the room for a whole hour I noticed how dirty the room looked like and I honestly wanted to leave but I was already there. Once the doctor came in she was telling me that “I noticed you were a bit…” and didn’t finish her sentence as she made a wide gesture Which really offended me because “overweight” is not a bad word and she made me feel awful. She then began to practice lazily by telling me my symptoms were caused by my weight and asked if I was doing something about it. Once I said yes she then congratulated me? She then told me she was going to examine me and use her fingers which I consented to until she then put in a vaginal speculum inside me without consent and even warning me which caused me pin and discomfort. I am writing this so that people are aware.

Dr. Del Rosario is great and sweet. I trust her completely. However, booking appointments is pointless. You end up waiting either in the waiting room or exam room upwards from an hour regardless of if you make an appointment.

Tried to end the appointment without even discussing why i was there. When we did discuss the fact that I was there for 3 miscarriage, and have been trying for a baby for over a year, told me it's nothing it just happens, that she's had 4 and acted like I shouldn't even be there. Didn't care to know what happened with the pregnancies, any kind of other issues or symptoms I may have, no family history. Didn't discuss any possible issues. Will never go back.
