Dehumanized
Waited an hour to see him for less than 10 min where he put me back on a medicine that I already said didn’t work. They lost my culture after telling me I didn’t need to call, and they would call me with results. After 3.5 weeks, was billed by the lab and still never got a call until I called to find they lost my results. During that period, they called and cancelled my next appointment so I had to call off work for a virtual visit. I waited 35 min on the call before the app dropped my call and they charged me for the visit after I told them what happened on the phone. With the exception of one nice lady, this was an entirely dehumanizing experience.

Eliminated My Stones and Good Overall Care
I am very pleased to be able to have Dr. Wagenheim as my Urologist again, now that he is on my new insurance. Last month he performed a Lithotripsy procedure that eliminated 2 stones that had not been crushed in 2 previous lithotripsies by another doctor. Having known kidney stones is like knowing you are walking into a mine field, never knowing when you will be rushing to the Emergency Room.Besides his skill at treating kidney stones, I learned about his overall awareness of a patient's health. He noticed 2 separate small anomalies on my CT scan. He ordered additional testing that indicated they were benign. The earlier a problem is detected the better the outcome. The 2 offices (Astoria & Pearland) where I have seen him have excellent staff and my appointments have been on time; no long waits.

Dr. Wagenheim performed a prostatectomy on me in June of 2020. It was a robotic surgery and it only took a week or so for me to recover. I returned to work after approximately 10 days. I had an enlarged prostrate and he removed a portion of it which solved the problem I had passing urine. The surgery was a complete success. He did an excellent job and is a very fine surgeon.

I’m in tears as I write this review, but I must! I’ve suffered with pain from kidney stones for what seems like forever! In 2011, I had an Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL), but the stone/s were never tested. The care was substandard. Let’s fast forward to the unbearable pain I experienced the latter part of 2020! Jokingly, I told my friends I’d been quarantined at home for 9 months, but no baby! Guess I was wrong! I had a large stone in my ureter and was referred to Dr. Wagenheim, Urologist. Wow! What a remarkable difference this experience has been. I’m so thankful to have Dr. Wagenheim and his team, Cynthia, Dulce, Kelly, Michelle, Becky and all those I’ve forgotten their names (please forgive me, because you all have provided great service to me) on my journey to better health. Dr. Wagenheim is super thorough, which has made all the difference in the world for my confidence and stress level in finding a solution to minimize the possibility of forming another kidney...

My experience has been the same as the above post. Office staff seems put out to work with you, multiple phone calls never returned, very disorganized. I even went in to the office in person to get an answer and was told someone would call me back same day - which they didn't. I've called 4 times to get an appointment and I am still waiting on a call back. I like Dr. Wagenhiem but his staff has to go.

Dr. Wagenheim and fellow physicians are all top notch, provide great patient care and have many years of expertise; however, the office staff are deplorable and not worth dealing with. Appointments are misscheduled, paperwork is lost, phones are NEVER answered and they are the most disorganized office I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. It’s a true shame because they are doing a huge disservice to the doctors and after trying to stay for four months, I will not be returning.
