Dr Shapiro is good but Practice Itself Needs Staff
Dr. Shapiro is a good physician, but he is booked solid with appointments every 15 mins, so you do feel like you’re being seen on a conveyor belt. The real drawback of Virtua Moorestown is the staff. If you need to have your pharmacy changed or an appointment rescheduled, good luck. It will take multiple phone calls, and the front desk staff will speak to you in a rude, aggressive, and patronizing manner, if they are asked to do even the slightest effort to assist with your care. There is no accountability and no supervisor you can speak to about the constant rudeness and unhelpfulness. It is their job to help you, but they act like it is a burden. I like Dr. Shapiro, but I would never recommend this medical practice. They don’t care about their patients, and they go out of their way to make you feel that.

Dr. Shapiro is absolutely the best
I keep Dr. Shapiro as my Primary Care Physician despite horrible experiences with other Virtua doctors and services. My experience with a Virtua nutritionist was worthy of a zero rating. I received urgent life saving care from a non-Virtua cardiologist after years of inadequate care by a Virtua cardiologist. Despite distrust and disgust of Virtua, I keep seeing Dr. Shapiro because he provides excellent care.
