Dr. Gary Schwartz, MD

Dr. Schwartz and his office staff were extremely nice & efficient. I broke my wrist right before New Years. I needed surgery ASAP. While at his office his staff made all the arrangements for me to get my blood work, CT Scan and pre-op done the same day. I had my surgery on Jan. 2nd. He would have done it New Years Day, but the hospital couldn't schedule it. He put in a plate and screws in my wrist and i have full function.

Really nothing good to say about Dr Schwartz or his poor staff. very very dissapointed. stay away or risk it all.

Money-hungry and inattentive! A physician friend referred me to Dr. Schwartz. I was suffering intense pain, so I was grateful that I saw him the day I called. It cost $300, but I needed immediate attention. Dr. Schwartz took x-rays and put my wrist in a splint for 2 weeks. At the follow-up, I was charged $45. The splint was removed and he put a question mark on his pad next to MRI and physical therapy. He was gone before I could ask a question! A staff member relayed my question about lifting heavy objects on the job. She issued a letter with my work restriction. I was so frustrated with Dr. Schwartz's apathy, I did not schedule another follow-up. Sadly, the pain returned, so I paid another $45 for a MRI referral; he refused to do it without seeing me again. After I paid, I was informed that I owe $100 for each office visit for a mistake that was not mine. Furthermore, I was told he would not honor my appointment unless I paid the $100! I ended up leaving, determined to warn others.

Incorret diagnosis. Extremely nasty back office staff. Receptionist was lovely. $15 charge for a copy of an xray. The office manager insisted on my picking up the xray on a different day IN PERSON even though I was injured, not driving and had difficulty walking. Is it possible a physician hasn't heard of the Americans With Disabilities Act???

Stay away this doctor sends you to an oncologist makes you call for the appointment. Say's just drop his name doesnt know the doctors. Makes you do all that yourself biopsy comes back negative then refuses to take the cyst out. Truly a wack job. Should have reported him the the Medical board but it would be a waste of time. JUST STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

Extremely satisfied with my treatment and the service from Dr Schwartz and his staff. First time was with a nodule in my thumb and again last year when I shattered a wrist and needed reconstructive surgery. He is quick, efficient, and yes he can come off as disengaged. He moves at high speed. Super professional

Dr. Schwartz is wonderful. Some people on here say that he's not friendly. Well, do you want him to be sweet and butter you up, or would you rather him be efficient and fix your problem? I prefer the latter. I truly think he's rather funny and so very knowledgeable. I had a nasty distal radius fracture and I feel that my surgery and everything that went along with it was perfect. I'd recommend Dr. Schwartz without reservation to ANYONE in need of his services.

After seeing Dr. Schwartz originally for pain and a cortisone shot, he did not explain my symptoms and options and at my follow up visit, spoke more to his intern then he did to me. No suggestions to relieve my pain but he still collected my co-payment even though i was in there for no more than five minutes. Totally disengaged and uncaring.

THE DOCTOR WAS HORRRRRRIBBLE, NO EMPATHY, HE DOESN'T TAKE HIS TIME TO LET PATIENTS KNOW ABOUT THERE SYMPTOM. THE RESIDENCE DOCTOR WAS MORE EMPATHETIC THEN HE WAS. THE OFFICE STAFF WAS WORST THEN THE DOCTOR. THEY ARE RUDE, AND UNINTELLIGENT, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT OFFICE AGAIN. I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Dr. Schwartz made sure I understood my options and helped me manage my expectations as to post-surgery outcome. He always treated me with courtesy, caring, and respect. His office staff was efficient and caring.
