51 years ago, I was a new Mommy. My son, Devlin Burran, was 3 months old and had been very sick with an ear infection. Dr. Morchower was tending to him. He was on an antibiotic, but a couple days into it, he spiked a temp of 106. I was terrified. Dr. Morchower advised me to put him in a tepid bath and then get to the office. He then sent us to Children’s Hospital at Parkland, where they did a spinal tap and discovered that he had Meningitis. It was Dr. Morchower’s first case of infant Meningitis. We waited all night to see if he was going to live through it. By next morning he was much better. We spent 10 days there. I believe that Dr. Morchower saved my son’s life by his thoroughness and willingness to trust my instincts. I will forever remember and have huge respect and gratitude for him. That was in 1973.

He became my pediatrician when I was 4 or 5, he took care of my baby sister who had leukemia and I remember him coming to our house when she died...I am now 51 and I took my children to him until they became adults! Absolute best pediatrician, he truly cares!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Absolutely the worst DR. And DRs office I have been to. I'm very positive and try to empathize on both sides of every situation but it's impossible here. Morchower is completely incompetent, could not hold an entire sentence without losing his train or thought, would repeatedly ask the same questions you just answer over and over. The office staff is completely I organized. The second I needed my daughters records sent to her new office they were lost. horrible!

He genuinely cares! He treats your children as if they were his that are sick. He is a wealth of knowledge in all areas of pediatrics. From children with concussions, strange illnesses, learning differences, to well baby/growth stages. He has a wonderful staff that have been with him for years and want to get to know you And your children. If you Need a specialist He knows Who to send you to quickly. My kids started with Dr Morchower when they were first born now they are 17 & 21. The Best!
