Saved my life
Dr. Litovitz saved my life on more than one occasion. No, he didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear. No, he didn’t believe my assurances that I was doing fine, when I wasn’t. He saw what was actually happening within me and told me that I was full of it. Somehow he could see what I wasn’t telling him and helped me navigate my way out of it. He’s not here to tell you what you want to hear, he’s here to help you save yourself. Somehow he can see through what you want him to see, even if you believe what you’re telling him, and as long as you’re willing to let him help, he can and will. Dr. Litovitz is still the best doctor I have ever encountered, and it doesn’t hurt at all that he cares.

Characteristically typical aloof, dweeby psychiatrist. Bedside manner = 0. Lack of compassion. Technically sound, but no counselling skills. If u just want meds, he might be your guy.
