I have small fiber neuropathy both sensory and autonomic. Way out of this doctor league.

Lack of courtesy, super arrogant
I had an appointment for injections for migraines. He entered the room, did not introduce himself or greet me. Told me to lay down and started the injections which took less than 1 minute. He was going way too fast (I have had injections at another office in the past who took their time). He was not nice about it at all and did not explain what he was doing/why he was doing it. Then he abruptly shoved gauze in my hands and left the exam room without staying to talk to me or see if I had questions. He didn’t care to observe my reaction to the injections and expected me to clean my face with the gauze. He has no courtesy for his patients. When I left to my car I saw him racing out of the parking lot because I was his last patient. I do not recommend him as a neurologist. I have no complaints for the NP I saw there previously. No empathy or compassion or concern for his patients.

Would not recommend him at all...
After waiting for an hour (most times I would have left), the nurse practioner was great and did her testing with care and conversation. Dr L'Europa came in, barely spoke and needled my lower leg nerves for maybe one minute without warning each time he did so. Mumbled a posible diagnosis, didnt explain it, said my report would be at my PCP in 20 minutes, and headed for the door. I was somewhat dumbfounded and before I picked up my jaw realizing he was leaving, he was gone!!! Not sure what he billed, but he was in the exam room no more than 2 minutes, probably less :( That is not acceptable. I do believe Im worth more than that. Perhaps he should keep his assistant with him during his marathon to pick up the pieces when he makes his dash out the door...yikes!!

Worst experience with a doctor in my life!
He walked in without even introducing himself or any greeting besides his back to me and a how are you. Then told me to lay down and as soon as i was he didn't tell me what he was going to do or anything. just started poking me with the needles in my muscles. then said lay down on the other side. no assistance with the pillow or anything or any conversation. then again, no words to say what he was going to do or when he was going to do it. barely wiped the blood from my arms and handed me gause to wipe it up myself. Then basically walked out of the room without addressing any of my questions except when i said but wait! Then he stopped for a second and said ortho RI will know what to do next. the visit was 3 minutes long! I have never been that badly mistreated at an app and I will never go back nor recommend him to anyone and in fact warn people about him!

I found Dr. L'Europa very condescending. I.have had a balance problem on my left side which has gotten worse. He noticed on my patient chart that I take a mild dose of an antidepressant. He stated I should up my dose of the medication because he thinks my balance problem is from anxiety. I would not recommend him at all.

Had a very pleasant visit with the NeuroHealth team Was greeted when I arrived and did not have to wait. The technician explained what she was doing and made me feel at ease. When testing was completed, Dr Gary A L'Europa came in and gave me a diagnosis but took the time to explain what was happening to me and gave me what needed to be done to help my situation. When I left I would highly recommend NeuroHealth in Warwick RI.

If I could put no stars I would. He is rude and wouldn't shake my hand when I extended mine to his, didn't even acknowledge my wife and missed diagnosed me. Without even doing an MRI he diagnosed me with Idiopathic neuropathy and said nothing could be done, it would only get worse as time passes. Got a second opinion and this doctor did an MRI plus all kinds of tests on me. When he got the results back he sent me to a surgeon who did both Cat Scan and MRI and found I had a narrow spine and that bones were touching nerves that were making me walk unsteady and cause weakness and numbing in my fingers, Spinal Stenosis. He operated on me in October and I am in therapy, walking better and improving every day. I am so happy I didn't listen to Dr. L' Europe's diagnosis and got a second opinion.

Nothing like being told you have a tumor on your brain (not a clue this was coming since MRI was for concussion), the day before Thanksgiving, not knowing this man who obviously made many incorrect assumptions about me without checking my file or asking me, not allowing questions or corrections nor time for anything and here I am 11 days later with none of the follow up from neurosurgeon or with other issue of concussion that was promised having been done. Thanks. Merry freakin Christmas I think. What do I know? I’m brain injured-have been since 9/1/19...

Went to my appointment this morning, after taking time off from work and waiting almost 9 weeks. I was told after waiting all of this time that I needed to be pre-approved by my primary care. The receptionist stated she left 3 phone messages over the past 3 days at my home regarding my needing this pre-approval. The only message I received was a confirmation of my appointment. When I arrived home after work, there was message the receptionist left THE SAME TIME AS MY APPOINTMENT stating I needed the pre-approval! While I was at the desk, she insisted that she called my primary care physician and received no response. The doctor she called had died 3 years ago!! I was then told that another doctor had been called and they did not receive a response from his office. His office told me they never received any communication from L'Europa's office at any time. They then blamed me for the mix-up?? They should have apologized, kept my appointment and worked this out. They chose to lie.

After many years of suffering, practically daily, with Migraine headaches, my doctor recommended I see a Neurologist, specifically Dr L'Europa. Under his care, and the care of the Nurses and Practitioners I am feeling much better. In the last three months I have been able to work, make plans, and keep promises; things I lost out on for so many years due to the debilitating pain of my migraines and chronic nausea. I am thankful, and confident in my future care with Dr. L'Europa and his staff.

Dr is arrogant and dismissive. He uses his NPs to do the work and the runs in the room for a minute and provides his "expert" opinion. Once he has tried "everything" he sends you away to another MD, formally severing your relationship. This is after spending very little time with you. He will let you leave in clear distress, in a state where you should clearly not drive. This is not patient care. An MD should do everything to help a patient get well not the minimum. Off to the ER for help.....
