Dr H. has been my PC for years. He is slow to just throw new drugs at you and that is a very good thing. I had a reaction to a medication and he fixed it!, No hassles, no appointment necessary. He saved my son's life by putting him on blood pressure meds even though he was young. He removed a tumor on my leg, I was afraid I had cancer, took it off in the office...it wasn't cancer! He has great hands and good bedside manner. He is fast, he gets to your complaints and his brain is working on a treatment plan immediately. He is a physician, not your friend, neighbor or counselor so small talk is minimal...he is listening and getting you well as you speak!

RUDE!!!! Does not listen to concerns and spends very little time with you, what time he does spend with you, he berrates you. I think he needs to retire. Even his nurses complain about his treatment.

Bad practice. They lied about lab work not complete 3 days after the results, Harrelson didn't bother ordering tests specific to symptoms and complaints, and they told me on day 6 everything was fine. On day 4 I was seen by doctor in Columbus who preformed correct labs and had imaging done that afternoon. By the time Harrelson's staff contacted me (day 6) to say everything is fine, I had already been diagnosed with one disease and either compilations related to it or another.

He has been my mother's doctor for many years now. On several occasions, his decisions have saved my mother's life. Dr. Harrelson was a pharmacist before becoming a doctor. I believe that experience with drug interaction wa what saved her life. He told her not to take one of the newer drugs because the side effects would be detrimental. I really like his no nonsense way of communicating. He is straight, forthcoming, honest yet he is still compassionate. He's an outstanding Doctor!
