Best Ever. Going to miss him!
Dr. G. has been my doctor for many years and I couldn’t have received better care. I’ve had many severe medical problems and he’s helped me make sure I was seeing the right specialists. I had copies of every test and report sent to him and he has been extremely helpful, responsive and helpful in every way.

I used to be a patient of this doctor, and my husband is now. We had COVID. We were using Ivermectin we had purchased prior. My doctor also prescribed a Zpac and steroids via telemed appointment and would have prescribed monoclonal antibodies if it had been early enough. I called this Gotthelf office to get my husband a telemed appointment or something called in. The response was, "we are only doing telemed appointments for Medicare recipients. We are following CDC protocol. If the oxygen level falls below 95, go to the ER." This is NOT compassionate care, and it is NOT what other physicians in the city are doing. It is neglect and failure to do no harm. I tried to talk my husband into changing providers, but he is stubborn and won't. There is a reason he is no longer my physician. I would have given zero stars if possible.

Dr Gotthelf is the best internal medicine doctor. Dr Gotthelf has actually saved my husband life 2 times. Dr Gotthelf always explains our conditions and then takes the time to explain the treatment and why. We can trust what Dr Gotthelf tells us and he is always there to help us in any way he can. We are not a number and he cares about you as a patient and a person.

Love Dr. Gotthelf, both my husband and I, plus my mother see him. He is very direct and honest. He will listen to you and never did I feel rushed. Office has changed but that is no different than any other medical provider. We have always felt good about what we have been told and he doesn't prescribe medication just to make you feel good! He prescribe what you need and not what you think you need. Go Dr. G!

My wife and I both love Dr. Gotthelf and have had almost always very positive experiences with treatment and from his staff. Unexpected calls for same day appointments have been handled quickly by one of the PAs he has on staff. Dr Gotthelf has a degree in chemistry, so he has a depth of knowledge many family practicioners lack regarding drugs and prescriptions. He also has a good "beside manner" during visits.

Dr Gotthelf is a very physician and I honestly wish I didn't have to write this negative review. His office staff may be the worst I have ever encountered. The lack of professionalism and care is evident all the way from the Office Administrator Amy to the Receptionists. There are only 2 people in the front office that I can say I have had a positive experience with. The bad outweighs the good by far. I hope that the Dr will start to see that his staff is causing more problems than they help!

This office regularly overbooks and I always felt like "just a number." I rescheduled TWO appointments, ( I called beforehand to let them know I had to reschedule due to work emergencies) and the next time I tried to set an appointment I was told I was no longer a patient of Dr. Gotthelf's! TWO rescheduled appointments. My husband had been a patient of this clinic since the 80's! The office manager, LaDonna, would not even speak to me to discuss this policy. Insulting. Very unprofessional.

I went in after moving to the area looking for a doctor for ongoing health issues and chronic pain causing an inability to sleep. After seeing both a PA at the practice and Dr. Gotthelf I have been told I came in "looking for pain pills" and had "refused" a prescription that the doctor told me to stop taking after I told him the 2 tablets 3x a day were not doing anything. They have NO plan to help me, at all. This is not service or even medical care. This is abusive.
