Afraid I would die
Really liked him first couple years I saw him. Then I got really sick, went to ER numerous times and Dr. Daniel would tell them it was not my heart. This went on for months until he told me in so many words that I needed mental health help. Well, turned out he had to call me at home one night after reading echocardiogram to tell me I needed heart surgery again. Needless to say, I chose not to use surgeon he suggested. Guess it wasn't all in my head after all.

No ADA law followed
Went in for ultrasound on legs and echocardiogram and I’m paralyzed and they have no low tables so they sent me to another place causing 2 bills because they don’t have low tables for paralyzed people. Np was disorganized and a very poor communication with me a patient. And doesn’t care to fix things per the ADA.

Saw him for the 2nd time for my annual visit in February. I had some concerns and issues. He ordered a monitor for 4 days, never got it. Ordered an echo and stress test which was scheduled for March. The week before the test, the office called, canceled and rescheduled test for a month ahead into April. Just so happend I got really sick on the date the test was scheduled in March. I went to my PCP that day. They did an EKG and I was immediately hauled off by ambulance to the ER. I was in Afib EVR. Spent 6 nights, 7 days in the CCU and Cardiac step down. I had suffered a heart attack, and I'm still in Afib. Needless to say my days with Dr. Daniel are OVER.

Aunt completely neglected
My Aunt, a heart patient, called him about heart pain and he told her he could get her in for a treadmill test in a MONTH!! Two weeks later she was rushed to the hospital with cardiac failure. She was completely neglected. Dr. Daniel did not come by to see her or speak to the family until a nurse called him and told him to come see the family. My Aunt has changed Doctors and found out today for the first time that her heart is operating at TWENTY PERCENT!!! DO NOT entrust your loved ones to this Doctor’s care. I am horrified beyond words.

My dad has been a patient of this practice for at least 30 years. Dr. Terry retired and Dr. Daniel is now my dad’s cardiologist. We’ve met him once as we asked to be introduced after a visit with an NP. So I can really not give a review of Dr. Daniel. My issue lies with the reception staff. Over the years they’ve grown nastier and ruder. Their treatment of elderly, hard of hearing patients is shameful! I hope in their old age that they retain all their faculties so they won’t be talked to with such irritation and disdain. They are hateful heifers!

One of the best
I liked Dr. Daniel the minute I spoke with him. He had called me on a Sunday afternoon and explained that he had been given a referral for me-I needed a heart cath. He also said explained that he had bought Dr. Vega's Practice. ( I had been a patient of his several years-he'd done both heart caths I had needed). So I had heard all great things about Dr. Daniel and asked him if he were accepting new patients-He said yes. To make a long story short-He is absolutely one of the best. I just got home last Thursday. He actually had to do 2 H.Caths for the same blockage. I was transferred to Macon .

A great, refreshing approach to care & treatment of cardiovascular conditions! Dr. Gary Daniel is a true Practitioner & professional of Cardiovascular medicine. He is a invaluable team member of his practice, continually going the extra mile for ALL of his patients. There can be wait periods with scheduled appointments, but understandable with the nature & broad scope of his practice & his special vascular skills. He is often called away to provide emergent care at hospitals. Highly recommended

Take snacks, drinks, something to keep you busy. Been sitting here close to an hour. This tells me his patients are not important to him. Receptionist said 10-15 minutes ago, he's not here yet. Losing confidence with EVERY passing moment. Grrrr

I met this doctor while my husband was a patient in icu. Claimed he would see me Tuesday since he was off on Monday. It 9:52 pm on a Thursday and well he hasnt showed up still nor has he answered the charge nurses page. She has paged him all day. Thank God nothing is wrong with my husband's heart. Worst doctor ever. If you want to be left for dead sure go ahead and use him.

Horrible! His office called the day before my appointment and asked if I could come earlier, I agreed to. When got there they took me back to review my paperwork. I was then asked to go back to waiting area because the doctor wasn't there yet. I was there for over 2 hrs he never showed up. I walked out.

I was referred to Dr. Daniel by my GP. He tested me with a heart monitor and sent me to another Dr. for a pacemaker. Every follow up visit I waited from 2 to 2 1/2 hours to see him for only a few minutes. He seemed very disinterested in my care each time. He failed to order an ultrasound that I am supposed to have every year. The last time I was there after waiting 2 hrs 35 min I saw him st his desk just looking at his computer. I got angry and told him so. I will not go back.

My father is under his care, and unfortunately my father likes him because he is nice to him. He has had numerous procedures to relieve blockages but does nothing with his extreme low bp even though he is on 2 bp meds and also that he has been in ER 3 separate times and that Dr. Daniels response to ER visit was stated to us as ER, ok. He seems to treat him like a number and not a patient. Of course my dad is old school and thinks every doctor is great because they are a doctor. Pathetic.
