Dr. Gabriel Belsky, DO

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Belskey and his practice, especially his nurse Erin, who have applied innovative pain management therapies and techniques that have improved my quallity of life tenfold. I have been to specialists at Stanford and UC Davis as well as the Sutter Network and for the past five years have suffered from an increasingly degenerative neurolgical condition that made walking painful to the point that I was mostly housebound. After consulting with Dr. Belskey and working with the practice, I have a new lease on life. I just returned from a trip to the South Pacific that went far better than I could have hoped. A year ago I thought I would never travel again. Every case is different and there are no miracles, but my experience with Dr. Belskey was transformative and I encourage anyone with chronic, life-limiting pain to learn more about the ground-breaking work being done at his practice.

Dr. Belsky has completely changed my experience with PCPs. He listens, asks questions, supports my choices and cares about my opinion and well-being. For someone who has a handful of other Dr's I know what it looks like to have a DR who will not be on your side versus one who is. Dr. Belsky is one who is on my side and he is one that I hope to never lose.

It looks like I wrote all those bad reviews!! LOL! I swear I did not. Dr. B seems to be very consistent in his dealing with his patients.

I would recommend anyone to Dr. B. I hope I never have to have another Dr.

Dr Belsky didn't listen to me he pretty much told me his opinion of what he thought I was going through

I knew within 3 minutes of talking with this guy that what I was advocating for myself was not going to be listened to. Dr. Belsky was smug and dismissive. Even if the substance of what he was saying had merit, he turned me off completely in his approach and communication style. Further, when I tried to acknowledge that I tried all the things he was recommending, he was unable/unwilling to get creative. Instead, he gave fear-mongering stats that had absolutely no applicability to my situation.

Belsky was my Dr for 3 years. He definitely has his own agenda when it comes to your health. Only problem, his agenda is not necessarily yours. Belsky can only single task, so when you go and have two health issues, instead of referring you to someone else, he will say make another appt. and we can discuss your other issue then. Then he spends your whole 15 min (he won't see you longer than that) lecturing you about his agenda, then charges you $300 and he didn't do a thing. Waste of $$$$$$

I saw Dr. Belsky in February of this year (2017). Very knowledgeable and good listener. Super nice and respectable guy. Put me on Chantix and I quit smoking! I am going back to him this next week... Will leave another review after my appointment.

I've been seeing Dr. Belsky for 2 years. I find him compassionate, well-informed, a great clinician and an over all good guy. We are more than our complaints and diseases - he seems to get that. I appreciate that very much.

Dr. Belsky is a great doctor. As a transplant to Sacramento, I spent a good deal of time researching doctors in the area as my initial experience was not the best. I found Dr. Belsky on the Sutter website and am very glad I chose him. He listens, is very knowledgeable, sensitive to his patient's needs and seems to sincerely care about people's well being beyond the particular issue one may be visiting him for.

I am a retired physician who practiced >30 years. See my initial review. He is the best because he is smart and HE ACTUALLY LISTENS. Impeccable judgment.
