After reading these reviews, I am now glad I decided to cancel. I was told he wouldn't see me until I was ready to have surgery. I have no idea if I need surgery. The appointment schedulers were rude and 1 hour after making an appt they called and cancelled it. I think I dodged a bullet on this one!

Back surgery in 2020
Great listener and discussed all options. After careful consideration and many questions I was very comfortable with moving forward on the decision for back surgery. Survey was successful

I have also had a surgery that was not successful and bone was left in my spine which caused nerve damage and they had to go back in and do another surgery and that too was unsuccessful leaving my foot in constant pain with no return calls from the office after making several attempts to reach them.

Dr.Banham saved my life. 20 years ago, I broke my neck on Peanut Island. I was in traction for 8 days before Dr.B could even do surgery on me! I'm now 39 this year, with NO pain, no adverse effects on my life. I thank GOD that Dr. Banham was on call that July afternoon so long ago. Every Dr. that has looked at my x-rays of my neck cant believe how good the cage in my neck looks and they always ask me "who did your surgery?" I always say Dr.Baynham!! :) Thanks Dr. B and his P.A Boe for all that you do! Nikki

Although he is specifically a surgeon, the doctor was quite willing to consult with me knowing that I wanted his experienced opinion rather than promising to have surgery. He spent quite a bit of time explaining and going over my condition and my options without making me feel like I was wasting his time. I felt like a valued patient.

Dr. Baynham is the right choice. Deciding to move forward with back surgery was a challenging decision for me. I’ve worked in healthcare for 30 years and during that time I’ve interacted with many surgeons and physicians throughout the United States and Canada. Naturally finding the best surgeon was my top priority. I did my homework.. I looked for a surgeon with solid reputation, the right credentials, quality education and big experience (wanted a surgeon that has performed 1000+ successful back surgeries). Once that criteria was met I looked for someone that met my most important criteria.. finding someone I trust. I met with Dr. Baynham to discuss my options.. he was relaxed and calm.. zero arrogance. When sharing his thoughts and recommendations, he was straight forward, thoughtful and thorough. After the consult I made my decision.. I chose Dr. Baynham. Bottom line: I have confidence in him and I trust him. Looking forward to my surgery.

Terrible. My surgery was unsuccessful & 3 years later still in great pain. My telephone requests to confer with the doctor have never been returned. My daughter called on my behalf as well & although his nurse promised he would contact us, neither he or his office ever responded.

In June of 2018 I walked into PBOI with level 10 back pains, feeling completely hopeless. My injuries occurred while working as a police detective and costed me my job and ultimately my livelihood. To my surprise, Dr C Baynham listened and worked extensively with me to find the best alternative. In August Dr C B performed my spinal fusion surgery. My case is unique and requires ongoing treatment; nevertheless, he has kept his word by going beyond the call to help me get better. ThankYouDr C B.

Dr. Clay Baynham is one of the most compassionate, caring Doc's I've ever met. His expertise and experience are impeccable. He is an excellent technician and makes the best decisions for his patients. He operated on me a year ago, I had a PLIF and disc replacement. I am back to biking, golfing, gardening and feel great! Painfree! God Bless you Dr. Baynham and your wonderful staff. I am so very grateful for your skill and kindness.

Definitely felt like I didn't belong there. My last visit, I was in extreme pain and I had to wait 2 1/2 hours. Doctor finally came in and told me the excessive wait was due to a booking problem. I really like these doctors that give you a time, I show up 15 minutes early, and then have to wait hours. I left, feeling even worse, they offered nothing for relief, and left my films. I called and they could not find them, so I had to go to the imaging place and pay for duplicates.

My son was referred to Dr Baynham for a case of scoliosis. At the first appointment, his assistant saw my son and we never met him. On the second visit, after arriving the prescribed 15 minutes before our appointment, we were told the appointment was 15 later. After waiting a full hour, we were told there were other patients ahead of us and we were still not going to see the doctor because he was too busy.
