Dr. Fuad Shahin, MD

Dr. Shahin performed emergency surgery for removing my gall bladder at AdventHealth Kissimmee. He was friendly, explained everything, followed up, and did a fantastic job. I could not imagine a better experience.

The doctor was in the office with me for 5 minutes and disregarded my constant pain. I’ve been dealing with pain in my breast for months and mammogram showed a few cysts which my pcp told me. I’ve tried many thing to help with pain and nothing help so I went here to be told “cysts are common, keep doing what you’re doing, take over the counter pain med for pain. But you don’t have cancer” I left the office crying. I feel like my money was stolen because no help was given. I will not be going back to a place where there’s no compassion.

Dr Shahin and the entire Osceola Surgical Associates staff was very rude and unprofessional. Dr Shahin only gave me half the story regarding the cist on my back. He told me he could remove it but never told me it wasn't a danger to me so it didn't have to be removed. I found out my cist wasn't a danger to me from another doctor I saw a week later. Tried talking to Office Manager who was completely rude and useless. If you don't want unnecessary surgical procedures forced upon you then go somewhere else.

On arrival the nurse came to the door and took my temperature. I registered and was put in a room. A nurse came immediately and took my blood pressure. The nurses were efficient and personable., I felt at ease. The doctor came in with a few minutes and look at my problem, and then talked about what procedure he was going to do. Everyone was so nice. I would recommend this doctor and his nurses to anyone who is looking for a caring and friendly staff

The ladies that work in this office are thw sweetest, most helpful ladies I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. If I ever have the need for another procedure, I will definitely return to this office. I will also highly recommend to my family and friends.

Staff is unprofessional, ladies at office joke around too much, one secretary grabbed her "Breast" and said out loud I want bigger Mangos with both hands in a joking manner since she was talking to her colleague at the front desk, Luz the surgery scheduler noticed and says that's inappropriate mija and the secretary says oh he did not hear me right? while I was trying to pay my co-pay . They are not very helpful, also right after appointment , I get several calls to sell me health insurance , which I already have through my job. So in conclusion I feel they also sell your information to different vendors. On top of that they schedule surgery appointments without calling you to confirm as promised . I do not recommend. It's a waist of time. I will be reporting this Patrice to the Better Business Bareau

In a world of "hurry up and get done doctors", Dr. Shahin is a breath of a fresh air. His office staff is friendly and personable. My wait time in his office has always been under 15 minutes, if that long. Dr. Shahin takes his time to ensure all your questions are answered and that you completely informed about the procedure. He is kind, soft spoken and very gentle from verbal presentation and delivery to surgical techniques. Dr. Shahin is a gem in a sea of doctors just seem to be in a hurry. Thank you, Dr. Shahin for your expertise, skill as a surgeon, and kindness as a human. The latter is probably just as important to the healing and recovery as the surgery itself.

This was my second visit with Dr Shahin.. Office staff was very friendly to all.. Dr Shahin explains very well the future procedure. He was great on prior one.. I highly recommend him..

I highly recommend Dr. Shahin for his surgical and counseling talents. I consider him to be one of the best surgeons I've had. During both the pre-op and post-op conferences he demonstrated a high degree of concern for my peace of mind, safety and comfort. He treated me with respect and answered all the questions that I had. It felt very comfortable to undergo his surgery and meet with him afterwards for his inspection of my healing progress. All nurses and staff associated with my surgery were extremely courteous and presented themselves to me as highly competent in their separate fields.

I downloaded the new patient paperwork at home filled it out beforehand and I arrived early for my appointment. Since I had paperwork already done I immediately was sent back to see the Dr. total time in the office from check in to check out 15 minutes. Dr is very professional and personal and told me my options. The office staff is friendly and professional as well. The office was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this office

I had surgery done for lipoma above my chest which was benign and an excellent job was done from when I went for consultation to my follow-up after the surgery. Healing very well and all test result was clean. I cannot tell where it was cut because surgical glue was used. Just have to work on the darknes to blend with the other area. Great job was done.
