Dr. Frederick Gulmi, MD

He is an outstanding doctor and very good at what he does.????????

I had a biopsy done this morning I thought Dr Gulmi was great he explained everything step by step very good guy

He was relatively on time. It’s a busy clinic. First staff were very courteous and so was he. He did a thorough examination and asked me many questions, found I had two hernias that I didn’t even know about. All his explanations were very thorough.

I am a physician myself and I brought my father who is also a physician to Dr Gulmi recently and Dr Gulmi has THE WORST bedside manners I’ve ever seen. As a physician myself, I would absolutely be embarrassed and ashamed of myself for acting like him. He completed a procedure on my father and then went on vacation for two weeks immediately after and told my father he can simply see his results if he has cancer or not on his MyChart. What kind of doctor would ever say that ??? Diagnosis of cancer is a critical diagnosis and not something that can just be seen on MyChart as if it’s just another basic lab test. After my father’s procedure, he was sent to the PACU for recovery and his nurses sent him home within a couple hours. My father (who is in his mid 70’s) was still sedated, dizzy, and couldn’t even remember anything because he was so sedated. Dr Gulmi had no partners on call for him while on vacation for 2 weeks. This is just pure malpractice and he honestly needs to be fired.

Doesn’t see you or follow up with you after surgery, not caring

This doctor I would not recommend. 1st appointment was rescheduled without my consent causing me to miss the "new" time they gave me. Then rescheduled for next week then 1 day before appointment they called to cancel and rescheduled for 2 weeks later. They are not organized and don't clearly take patient care seriously. Stay away from this doctor.
