Compassionate
I'm so grateful for Dr. Mayhue's responsiveness during a second ER visit at Labette Health, September, 2024. One day earlier, I was diagnosed with Covid with additional symptoms suggesting a UTI. At the first visit, I was told to wait for a culture result (Labor Day weekend!) and that I could probably flush it out by drinking water. I was denied an antibiotic. Within 24 hours, I was pacing the floor with significant pelvic pain. Dr. Mayhem examined me and listened. He gave me an antibiotic on the spot. The pain lessened and I was finally able to sleep. Compassionate care.

Ruuuuunnnn
I'm not sure where this man got his doctorate from but he's a sorry excuse for a doctor if I ever saw one I took my daughter into the ER after exhibiting more severe symptoms he walks in with a chip on his shoulder refuses to treat my daughter and tells us to leave. Last I checked emergency room Personnel are not allowed to refuse service apparently that concept is not something that applies to him if you happen to see his Jeep in the parking lot of your local hospital run as fast as you can to another one.

Horrible - took my daughter to the ER in Grove and got him. She was having labored breathing/retractions. Her o2 was 92. Her xray was clear and he sent us out the door. He never checked her ears or throat. Never listened to her after getting the xray back, even though he heard crackling before the xray. Said my daughter's breathing was normal. He shouldn't practice medicine.

I went in for a dog bite and he saw my latest surgery for cancer and I told him during the dog bite the staples pulled out on my head but I cleaned it I did not hit my head I had a Dr that could take care of it that is see often and will go to him for Repairs. He was nice but he let nurse tell him what to do he gave very poor care never even told me hisself. He and nurse seemed to be too close. Bad Dr

Dr. Mayhue was empathetic, thorough, friendly & focused on me. As a former cancer/chemo patient I was apprehensive about seeing yet another doctor. But, soon after our intros & explanations I felt I was in caring & competant hands. Within 5 minutes I was being CAT scanned. Just 15 minutes later, Dr. Mayhue was reviewing results with me & asking for my feedback. His bedside manner is; empowering, kind, compassionate, professional & humorous. I felt rejuvinated by my experience with Dr. Mayhue.
