Brilliant physician!
I had a lithotripsy performed. All went well. Dr. Margolis has a quirky sense of humor that puts one at ease. I would highly recommend him.

Worst Physician Ever
My husband was referred to him by our family doctor on April 20,2023 for a PSA level that doubled and difficulty urinating. His office did not bother to scan in the referral until May24, 2023 as confirmed by his office staff . He had an appointment with the doctor on May 31.The doctor did not examine my husband , no rectal exam, no abdominal exam, no physical exam at all. In fact the length of his first ever appointment was 5 minutes. He asked my husband why he was there and husband repeated that his PSA had doubled and his family doctor was concerned. The rest of what occurred was unable to be told on this sight due to the profane and disgusting advice my husband was given. My husband was shocked and embarrassed and did not follow up. We went to a different health system and it was discovered that he has high grade metastatic bladder cancer, incurable. While examining my husband would not have prevented his cancer , it could have been found months earlier and treated with better progn

A doctor you want to see
He’s doesn’t make you feel like a number but a person. The hardest thing about going to a lot of doctors is they act like you’re a car in for service and they are fairly dispassionate and are matter of fact about what you’re dealing with. He takes the time to talk to you and find out what is happening with you and tells you what he thinks is the best course of action to make you better. He does it in a kind and personable way that makes you feel like you’ll be better when all is said and done. You get all the facts along with what the outcome will be. It’s a much better visit when you’re dealing with a doctor that still knows what the term bedside manner still means. In my experience and opinion he could teach a course in that alone.

Excellent urologist
Clearly explained what the problem was, the possibilities of more serious outcomes, and how he hoped to fix the issue. Gave us hope when we were under very much stress. Dr Margolis has a wonderful sense of humor, but don't let that mask the fact that he knows what he is talking about. His excellent surgical skills gave us the positive outcomes we had hoped for.

Dr. Margolis is the best. He literally saved my life when I had a septic kidney stone emergency. He is a total pro plus a straight shooter and great guy. He does serious work but also has a sense of humor. I would give him the highest recommendation possible. His office staff and colleagues are wonderful, too.

Dr. Margolis is a doctor that provides exceptional care and I will recommend to anyone. He is respectful, caring and kind. He treated my 90 year old father with respect and dignity. He treated him for what the actual problem was, not just the symptoms. Dr. Margolis showed up at the hospital after a day of surgery at 8 pm to check on my father's progress. Dr. Margolis returned phone calls promptly and explained his plan of care. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff.

I have extreme urological challenges and Dr. Margolis has been the best physician I've ever dealt with. He is attentive to patients needs and builds trust by discussing options and alternatives to resolve patients needs. I've been a patient of his for 11 years. He has helped me beyond my expectations and has earned my trust like a brother. He is very intelligent and skilled with a great demeanor for any patient. I would highly recommend his services.
