Unable to get test results
There really isn't anything good to say about Dr. Ruiz or his office. I had a colonoscopy on Jan. 27 and to this day I have been unable to get the results of the biopsy on the polyp or lipoma that were found and removed. My initial 'consultation' lasted 5 minutes and the doctor seemed decent, but when he walked into the surgery room, he was arrogant and condescending. Since then, I've called to get the results of the biopsies and have spoken with people who said they'd get back to me and yet I never had a single call returned. To this day, I don't know the results of the biopsies are and I would NEVER recommend Dr. Ruiz to anyone. A professional doctor and his staff wouldn't ignore their patient.

His staff is awful. They can't even get a prescription correct and that has left me going to another Gastro doctor. I give them a 0.

Dr. Ruiz kindness and compassion comes through in everything he does, from speaking with you on difficult diagnosis' to discussing care options, he is a wonderful provider and physician. A little delayed in getting results of testing, unsure if that is office practice issues, but he is well worth the wait.
